There are ways of finding it on Google Earth, but they shun on us posting them here on The Ledge. Let's just say, in the words of Yellowcard... There's a place off Ocean Avenue.

Oh big fuggin' deal.
People gotta live somewhere, and Stevie just happened to choose a spot right on the PCH that anybody can stroll/drive past. I just can't imagine that it would be particularly healthy/serene breathing in all of those fumes and hearing the traffic whirring by 24/7. And doesn't she still have that house up in the Malibu hills?Location aside, am I the only one who is a bit concerned by the, um, low budget DIY nature of this video project? Okay, I can accept Dave Stewart may have a personally vested interest in working on the video, but shouldn't they be on a soundstage in Burbank or something? Why on earth are they shooting a video inside of her condo? Is she going to be standing at her kitchen counter stabbing an onion with a Ginsu knife when she mouths the words "...my secret love secretly died?" There should be dry ice. Industrial fans blowing around yards of chiffon. And more treadmills, puhlease! Hopefully they are going to shoot in other locations, and I don't mean the condo complex's pool and bocce court! |

She has a chance at being played on one of the VH1 channels. But mostly I suspect this is being made for YouTube. Still, considering the incredibly elaborate videos she has made in the past, why sully her legacy with something cheesy? This isn't a rap video featuring acres of marble, bottles of Kristal, hot tubs, ocean view balconies, etc. This is supposed to be a surreal dream-like accompaniment to a very dreamy, atmostpheric song. It would be cool if it took on the surreal vibe of the single cover artwork, but I'm not sure if that can be accomplished within the confines of Stevie's modernist aerie.

BTW, if you want to be Stevie's neighbor, it will only cost you about five big ones: ![]() Looking past the exquisitely ugly decor in this unit, I could possibly see the potential in capturing some dramatic footage. This room reminds me of some of the pictures used on the inner sleeves of the Tusk LP. Last edited by Ledge Moderators; 01-31-2011 at 12:42 PM.. |

I sensed there was something missing in the pic above! You just can't be too rich, too thin or have too many pears on the floor!

It's also worth mentioning "Rooms On Fire" was filmed at Stevie's rented mansion at that time, with the performance footage filmed on a soundstage. And that video was beautiful. I'm still waiting for the quintessential Stevie Nicks solo video. Maybe Dave Stewarts film on Stevie will be the total package. Till then "Gypsy" will forever be in my mind the quintessential Stevie Nicks vid of them all. ![]() Last edited by Christopher; 01-31-2011 at 11:58 AM.. |

"Every Day" was not a cheap video. I would say it could possibly be one of Stevie's more expensive. On the other hand "Sorcerer " was a great looking video done on a smaller scale & budget.
