This is the video package for the award. What is that song at about 4:09-4:10... I don't know if I've heard it before!?!? NEW SONG? Or am I just overexcited?

don't think so... he might be singing "Great Day"... that was the TV special he did when he released Gift of Screws. A&E Sessions I think...

I thought that when I was watching the video - he looks to have aged years since I last saw TV footage of him.

But the point of my post -I was struck by Elliot S saying that they spent 3 months solid working on the Dance project after the show was recorded. I wonder how much of the original live sound made it to the final CD/DVD - not much I guess. He makes it sound like Lindsey did a huge amount of work on it.

I'd be curious to see a few from this thread, including myself, and many from the other thread get before the harsh goulish lighting of a staged banquet hall at the hilton after a night of nerves, a crappy faux set of your music, and 20 minutes of emotional rambling from peers. Ethereal perfection, one can imagine.

He's probably referring to all the overdub work.

That's made me guffaw. I do wonder what Lindsey thought of it. He might have been mortified or maybe he was just pleased by the tribute and didn't care about the quality.

If he liked the Carrie Underwood Fashion Rocks thing, maybe he didn't mind this either.

And, I'm assuming he knows all those guys. What's are you gonna tell your friends when they're playing your songs - "Thanks, but you sucked."?

He could tell them what he'd tell Stevie: "in a word, NO."
