What kind of Tickets/seats do you have?

Greetings and Good Tidings fellow Sisters and Brothers of the Moon!

Just wanted to say hello and that I finally made it to the Ledge after all this time with me peering into your frost covered windows with my nose pressed firmly to the glass. I also wanted to let you all know how much of a pleasure it has been to be able to enjoy reading your threads and how absolutely fabulous it is to be able to post and read here with people who wear the same cloak as I. I am always amazed at how knowLEDGEable you all are and how dedicated we are as Fans. I have commiserated with you all silently through the good, the bad, and the very, very ugly. I look forward to no longer remaining the silent one, and to share with you my experience in traveling down the road often less traveled. The journey that is Fleetwood Mac and all that entails. This forum is simply another facet of how fun it can be to follow this band (hopefully unlike the Pied Piper). I feel I can tell you all this simply because I know who you all are, you were there with me at "The Concerts" since 1986 singing and dancing to the sound of the tambourine! You are all in some strange way another reason why I absolutely love to go to the"The Concerts" It is an honor to finally be a member amongst you. The truest of the Troubadours, Tramps, and Thieves...and to the Gypsies that remain...

...And now, if I may, to so grasp a thread from the winds -

I am outside of myself with curiousity as to what kind of tickets/seats you may have gotten for "The Concert".

As for myself I am fortunate enough to live in the Bay Area, but unfortunately was unable to get tickets to only one of the three shows that will be played here (so far, anyway) of which I'll be seeing their San Hose show. I was fortunate enough to procure two seats on the floor, 8th row, center (section 2) seats 8-9 ! This, as always, was a struggle. I'm still trying to recover from the heartbreak and the process ( I figure four more therapy sessions and I'll be cool!)

I am greatful, but as one must understand that I have been very spoiled in the past with respect to seating at the shows and vowed log ago that I could not settle for anything less than first 10 rows. To that end, like one of you stated in your post, It has always eluded you as to how one got great seats without breaking the bank. That mystery has plagued me as well. Gone are the days of yore when seats, even great seats were reasonably priced. Though as one of you put it, you had to believe that you would get great seats as only divine karma would dictate, seeing as that we have very generously padded Fleetwood Mac's retirement accounts through all the years and forever more (How many albums have we bought to simply replace the ones we've worn out, I've lost count of how many of "The Wild Heart" albums alone!!!)

The closest I've ever been at a show was 4rth row, dead center at Stevie's Enchanted tour in Concord, CA. And as many may know that does afford you the chance to rush the stage to touch Stevie's little hand. I regrettably and completely ckickened out of what could have been my one and only chance to that experience and to rush that stage. I tried to maintain my dignity and I just froze...or...it was simply because I could not hurdle myself over those three rows of folding chairs wearing my $1200 custom-made 6inch platform boots. You have not seen Olympic athletes until you've seen in person our fellow sisters and brothers flying over those folding chairs like gazelles. Talk about WILD!!!

I am rambling now, and look forward to reading about how fotunate you all may have faired in getting tickets if at all. And trust that I can well understand if some have decided not to go for whatever reason. I almost lost out on my opportunity and resigned myself in not going if I didn't find these seats. I will share with you my experience with Ticketmaster at a later writing, for indeed I was their willing and niave SLAVE shackeled by the empty promises of pre-sale glory and beaten down by the FAN(CLUB). Yet another victim's story of woe.

Greetings and Salutations, Moon Brother. Welcome to the Ledge! I thoroughly enjoyed reading your introductory post. It was a much-needed breath of fresh air around here!

To answer your question, my fan club pre-sale tickets for DC are in the 28th row. My fan club pre-sale seat for Dallas is a little better, 19th row. And, as luck would have it, another Ledgie, who is flying all the way from Holland for his very first FM show, is sitting right next to me in Dallas! Now that I see what Sticketbastard and/or Mr. Todd are up to (releasing seats in the first 10 rows a few days before each show), I am NOT buying ANY more tix in advance, should I decide to go to the OKC and Phoenix shows also, which I probably will. And keeping my fingers crossed for a 2nd tour leg, I will also attend any other shows in Texas.

Us Ledgies may butt heads occasionally, but we are a great bunch, overall!

How wonderful that's going to be to travel around and see those shows. Just like the Gypsies. I say that only to remember all too well my first memories of the first Stevie concert I attended for The Rock A Little tour in Hartford, CT when I lived there so long ago. I was 14 years old and had been listening to stevie for at least three years before that. And I remember the rocked out Gypsies covens and their caravans that would attend as if they were attending a sabbat. The Sisters and Brothers of the Moon. Of course they were always in the first few rows. You just knew instinctively that they would travel around from city to city to see her and to feel her warmth and glow. Like exotic moths to a brilliant flame. I'll never forget them with their long beautiful hair and capes, with their leather and suede covered by the laces, and velvets fluttering like wings on the night, and soft chiffon woven with ribbons for good luck. It was slightly windy that night, which added to their glamour and drama. It was like I happened upon an evening at some renaissance faire. They defined their own time and space at that concert, as if Stevie had come their to be with them just as much as they had come to be with her I can still hear their tambourines and their tinkling bells fading into that windy night. I was kooked, their would be no way I would miss that experience again. To this day I always bring a tambourine laced with ribbons to each of "The Concerts" - in ode I suppose.

Maybe you are one of those long lost Gypsies I saw that time, that hasn't been able to find their back! Maybe you could braid a little of your hair for me when you go to shows - to remember!

I am very excited for Your friend from Holland and hope that he has as wonderful and as magickal a time as I did at my first show.

It's a bold thing to say, but even if you were not able to see the band visually for whatever reason, but just be able to hear them and dance and be with your freinds and would be the best time you ever had.
