He can deliver a soliloquy better than any Shakespearean character!

He looked much better on the video than the photos, and I think he's still so hot that I could.........................!

BTW, forgot to say - the acceptance speech vid cheered me up no end this afternoon as I fell down again on the icy pavement today (me and Bee had a conversation before Christmas about falling down in the snow and such). Well, today I have managed to bruise and scrape both knees, take the skin off my palms, and tear holes in the knees of my jeans - although that could be seen as just fashionable. Anyhow, seeing and hearing our Bucky took some of the pain away

I'm glad.

hey friends no need for thanks, though you're welcome. I just lingered on youtube hoping they'd post ASAP as I was HOT to see this myself.

I'd say we are all geared up and ready for Lindsey's CD and tour! Hope to hear some news soon.

This was great to watch! I think what Elliot Scheiner said about Lindsey was wonderful. I was so pleased to hear from someone in the industry who thinks so highly of Lindsey!
Also, I think Lindsey's hair looks darker here than it looked during the Unleashed tour. Maybe I'm imagining it!

I tend to make fun of the people I like and the wacky things they do, which is why you'll often hear me ranting about how bad Bucky's hair was during Go Insane era and all the words he uses too much

That reminds me of John. Mid-tour his hair just got darker. Michele

Default mix professional audio and music production article

excerpt from http://mixonline.com/news/tec_awards_winners_1801/ :

In addition to 25 awards for Technical and Creative Achievement, an enthusiastic crowd of sound and music products industry professionals witnessed the presentation of the prestigious Les Paul Award to famed guitarist, composer and producer Lindsey Buckingham (pictured). The award is given annually to a musician or recording professional whose work has epitomized the marriage of music and technology. Renowned producer Ken Caillat and engineer Elliot Scheiner presented the award, which was introduced by TEC Hall of Fame engineer Al Schmitt. Also highlighting the evening were musical performances featuring Ambrosia’s David Pack, guitar legend Larry Carlton, Dixie Dregs’ Steve Morse, Night Ranger’s Jeff Watson, Pablo Cruise’s David Jenkins, keyboardist Jimmy Nichols, Public Enemy bandleader Brian Hardgroove, and other veteran vocalists and session musicians.

I'm glad I'm not just imagining it! I think LB looks better with somewhat darker hair. When it is more gray than dark, it makes him look older than he otherwise would have.

I actually thought he didn't give a hoot about his hair/weight/clothes etc., but if he is darkening his hair then he obviously does care about it - then why the heck doesn't he tweak the hair style a little too?

This subject just seems to run and run.....

I never really thought about if he cared about his hair/clothes/etc! We fans are always too busy doing that for him! Seriously, though....he's had that same hair style since....at least 2000, maybe even before. I figure he's comfortable with it.

Haven't watched the video yet.
He needs to Grecian formula the eyebrows. And move his hair a bit more on his forehead.
But, other than the welcome addition of a good night's sleep (or some concealer), he looks good.

Oh, I definitely thinks he cares about his weight, if nothing else. I don't think that it was just a coincidence that he lost those pounds in 1997 and it never returned. He lost it naturally, by being on tour. But after they were off the road, I think he was keeping up the exercise.

In his place, I'd be glad to stand beside my contemporaries and still have my same waistline. I'd be chuckling to myself seing Don Henley at AHI and thinking to myself, "I still got it -- and he doesn't."

And I don't think he's indifferent about not having the pot belly that John and Mick have inherited.

Michele
