Just my two cents.
Everyone seems to come on here thinking they know what's best for Stevie, but she and her promoters know her better than anyone else. The reason she doesn't do small theatres is because she really doesn't have to. From what I can tell, she can still attract a decent sized crowd. And if she can't attract a decent sized crowd in a particular market, she simply doesn't play there.

In reality though, if they had done a large theatre tour with better priced tickets for the unleashed tour, it would of been a runaway success and they probably would of come out of it financially ahead in the long run. Smaller stage setup, smaller overhead cost.
Other than a few weak cities, Unleashed appeared to be a pretty big success as it was. Just about every show I attended was sold out or close to being sold out. Why should they play small theatres when they can fill arenas and exhibition spaces quite well? I suppose they could play theatres, but then they would have to play multiple nights due to demand, resulting in a longer tour and higher touring costs. And it's also a bummer for fans because cheaper tickets/smaller venues=greater upside for ticket scalpers. So in essence they would have to work harder to make less money- that makes no sense.
