SYW not saving Warner's

My theory that SYW would sell a gazillion copies and save AOL/Time Warner was shot out of the water yesterday.

Ted Turner is finally bailing and sold half of his AOL shares yesterday. Ted doesn't think SYW and the FM tour is going to break all sales records at Warner's?

If Ted's getting out that seals it. AOL/Time Warner is going down like the Titanic. The iceberg hit when Warner's merged with AOL going against Turner's better jugement. Ted's stock sale means it's about 1:00 am. It's about time for AOL shareholders to get into the lifeboats. No more waiting for the ship to right itself. Ted just bailed so I'd be bailing too if I owned that stock.

SYW and Madonna's cd will probably get as little promo dollars as possible now. That won't stop the bleeding.

who ever thought Say You Will would actually break any sales records and save Warner Brothers?
I'm sure Ted Turner's decision to dump the stock wasn't simply b/c of this album. The record industry, in general, is doing poorly.

Well, this is crazy logic. Who knows why Ted Turner sold his stock?

Anyway, I doubt very much that Ted Turner thought FM would rescue anything. The world of big business is a bit more complex than that.
