Default New Kate Bush Album?

ZOMG.
Best year for music that I have ever experienced in my 15 years.

Nothing confirmed as of yet, but if this goes through I will be extremely happy. Now i've got my fingers crossed that this is true - and that Tori Amos is doing it as well. That would mean all my girls <3 will have an album each.

I don't want to get my hopes up yet, but this would be awesome!!! Love Kate Bush.

Not for nothing, but rumors were swirling around Kate Bush's "new album" for at least five years prior to Aerial. Don't want to get my hopes up. I thought Aerial was a masterpiece- perhaps the finest album of the 21st Century; she will have a hard time following that up.

Yes, I don't mind her taking her time if it's as good as Aerial.. won't hurt my feelings if it's another double album either.

I love Kate! I'm not a huge fan because I'm just now really starting to get into her. I've owned her greatest hits (The Whole Story) album for 2 years now. I love every song! I received her debut album The Kick Inside for Christmas this year. I've listened to it front to back about 3 or 4 times now. It's sooooo friggin' amazing!

Cautious optimism about this! I'd LOVE new Kate album this year, she's incredible! I'm listening to The Kick Inside right now.

I started with the Kick Inside and moved on album by album on chronological order, it works better that way because by the time your listening to 'π' on Aerial you'll understand she isn't wording various mathematical numbers.
And plus, it gets better...

T is working on SOMETHING, but I don't think it's new material. She's been back recording at the MCO, after her show with the metropole orchestra in Amsterdam last year. She is planning a short tour of "select european cities" for this fall, from what I understand. Sorry to say, but I doubt we'll see a brand new studio album until after "The Light Princess" debuts next year. IMO, this will be a good thing. The last big gap we had between new Tori material was venus - Scarlet, and we got one hell of an new album!

I myself wouldn't go that far, but I enjoyed the second CD. I got a kick out of the soundscape representation of an old Meredith poem, & the way Kate turned it all into her very personal flight fantasy.
