Darn... I missed the Loubitan boots because I was watching on my crappy little bedroom TV - knew that would be a mistake!

The interview - She's funny...

Stand Back: Loved the dramatic look on her face and jerking the mic stand a few times. The beaded fingerless gloves that kept popping in front of the camera was funny. And I'm not sure about the hand gesture during "standing in a line" - I don't know if it was her eyes following her hand or just the gesture itself.

I loved it when she was 'writing' in the air during the "read between my lines" part.

I'm sure she was writing out a note to herself - 'Bring a shawl with me the next time I perform this song and then I won't have to do these hand gestures EVER again!-

That's what I was thinking too. We should get married.

No shawl, no strings and things on her mic and was it just me or did she look momentarily lost during the portion she normally does the twirls. Although she recovers with the skirt shimmying.

Thumbs up Thank God/Allah/Manny-Moe-and Jack...

for youtube...Had to work this morning so I missed all the episode, but just finished watching it. Seeing Stevie helps warm me up after being outside in the cold almost all day today.

I was waiting to see the twirls. Oh well. She did seem lost for a sec. It looked like she was getting ready to do a twirl when she suddenly said, "Oh wait! Just grab your skirt and shake it around! Oh crap! It's already time to go back to the mic?! I forget we shorten the song for these tv appearances!"

I will say, Stevie looked and sounded fantastic.
There was none of that nasal sound in her voice.

exactly
i was watching TODAY this morning when they had all the phone numbers up thinking WHO the hell is watching the TV to get this info
they're either not going to have power or their TVs are covered in sludge or they have more important things to do.
im pretty sure Ellen reruns were on Gem a while back or some channel
is it too much to ask for ONE hour of normal television
it's holidays for a lot of people
maybe some of them just want a BREAK in front of the TV non news aaaargh
i am so annoyed

I was wondering if they edited anything out of the performance and/or interview. Last year when I was out in LA, I went to a taping of Jay Leno and when we watched it back that night, I was shocked that they edited out a few words here and a few words there. Things that didn't make or break a segment but we were like, hey..wait a minute, didn't they....so it just makes me wonder if there is anything that happened we didn't get to see. Do we know if any Ledgies got into the taping yesterday? I assume we would have heard by now if they did.

Default OMFG .... that was amazing ......

That was unbelievably brilliant,

Stevie, &, her "band" were right on target with their live rendition of "Stand Back",

it was absolutley amazing to see Stevie, Waddy, Jimmy, Lenny, Al, Carlos, Ricky, Sharon, &, Lori, blast us with an awesome version of Stand Back,

(too bad there was not a reprise),

disappointed not to see DavidMn, &, HejiraNYC in the audience,

anyway, the 28th January 2011, The Joint, 8177 West Pico, LA, just to touch base with the best R&R band around before they hit the road with Stevie

g,
