Also I love the anecdote about the ski vacation, I had no idea Christie Alsbury (Stevie's makeup-girl at that time and in the 80's) dated her brother, I guess he liked her entourage of girls, after Christie he married Lori.

Either that or he's just lazy...

So that was Stevie in the photo! Now that I saw that she's higher up on a little hill type thing than the others now it's more believable.

I can't believe I just found out about this. I really need to get back into the loop. Is anyone recording it, I have to leave for work in 15 minutes and alas I have no DVR. I know, I'm so behind!
So someone please record.

*I just went back on a few posts. Thanks for posting...like I said I'm a little behind.

I just saw the show--I didn't cheat and waited for the show on tv. There were a few Stevie related things throughout the show:

Sure, it's just a coincidence, but early in the show, one of the songs that Ellen mentioned from the "cd for your pets" was "Unconditional Love." I doubt Ellen even realized Stevie had a song by that name on the Street Angel album.

Another weird coincidence was the "scarey spider" that came out to startle Ricky G. Oooh black widow.

I'm sure it's just me: Ellen included some crazy game show-bit, and someone was answering then "monkey." I was waiting for Jane Goodall "chimpanzee" to show up at any minute.

Stevie looks great, sounded great, and I laughed out loud as she side-glanced and rolled her eyes when Rod Stewart chimed in with the wine glassES near his living room. She was definitely chatty! I enjoyed her telling Rod the results of listening to his one song over and over.

I never heard that story before.

The lighting for the band was rather dark, but the sound was great. That song's had a lot of practive, from Stevie AND Rod Stewart.

Lindsey did get a mention, though - a quick reference to the BN days!

I just had to watch the Ellen thing again to see where Stevie's new cd was mentioned - you couldn't even hear that over the audience screaming about getting free concert tickets. That's a real shame.

The appearance is doing good for Rod. He's trending on yahoo searches at #7.

To all those jealous Ledgies, I am now watching Ellen on Australian TV.
Ellen just said she was performing a classic hit.
