^ well, she's a bit nervous. No microphone or ribbons to fiddle with, etc. She's playing with her hands. She definitely knows Rod Stewart songs, but was caught off guard. Overall, she did fine. And we haven't even SEEN the whole thing yet!

About to watch the whole episode on Ellen. Looks like she sings Stand Back! I turned it on, and Ellen was like, "Here's Stevie to perform Stand Back!" Yay, in 5 minutes when It's done recording on my PVR I am turning this sucker on!

Well that was sort of brilliantly, hilariously awkward.

No chemistry between them at all (she was pretty stiff). But perhaps it will improve. After all, she's liked some British people-- bound to like them all!

It reminds me of a king giving away his daughter for marriage, and since they're in public she has to act in the smallest degree that she's excited.

I thought she was trying to set Ellen up to mention the Mac or her new album produced by Dave...

Maybe she's stiff because it wasn't her idea and that's why she was making it such a point of saying "yeah we were at a party together once and then for 20 minutes yesterday...so this is a GREAT idea..."

That was a good snippet. I really enjoyed it. Nice, awkard interview from two people who hardly know each other.

P.S. I saw of picture of Stevie and Rod together at Studio 54. They hung out on more than one occassion.
