The Hollywood Bowl is an incredible venue. I saw Fleetwood Mac close the Tusk Tour there way back in 1980!
It's kind of exciting that she is playing this venue. I was hoping to see her in a more intimate setting but the thought of seeing her at the Bowl again is something I cant pass up. If I can get a ticket, I'm there!

I'd love to go to the first show, but it's the Sunday of South by Southwest weekend, damn it! Hollywood Bowl is very tempting...I saw the Thompson Twins there back in the 80s!

Well, here's the thing for me. I have always regretted not seeing the Dance tour there when I had the chance. Maybe we can meet up?

Sure! I had just turned 17 when I saw them back in 1980, so I dont remember all that much anymore, except that it was the biggest venue/crowd I had ever seen.
Seeing the Dance tour there would have been sweet but I did catch their 2 shows at Shoreline that October when they did their Bay Area dates.
I think that was the last tour Fleetwood Mac ever played the Hollywood Bowl too.

See, and that's another thing. I dont see Fleetwood Mac playing the HOllywood Bowl again now that Staples Center is there. that arena hadnt opened yet when the Dance tour was going on.

I would probably piss my pants for all the right reasons!

I've always traveled to see Stevie/the Mac, so if she were to come to my hometown, it would be the coolest thing ever.

If this happens, we should meet up before the show.

If there is anything left of us but bits and pieces..lol!

So Stevie tours with a British artist and there are so far not even any European dates. Great. Sorry but that completely sucks! It may be Rod I'm more pissed at for this... I can't afford any US travel for as couple of months, have just started working, so I guess I'm waiting for news of her solo tour when I can get the US.

Hmm...maybe since this is taking place in March she'll do a summer tour by herself. This could just be to promote the album then the album comes out, people buy it then she goes on her own tour.

Smile Bummer!

I don't think I'm going to be able to go. They are @ the Wells Fargo Center in Philly on April 5th & that's on a Tuesday. I can get off from work, but hubby probably can't. I've never seen Rod before. I'd like to see this concert tour.

I can't find any concert info on-line anywhere as in ticket prices.

I"m sure it will be up either today or tomorrow. Also I wonder if these 13 shows are it. There's 5 days between Detroit and Phoenix(PSST STEVIE, MINNEAPOLIS!!!!)

Look for added dates in NY and LA if sales are good. I think there is a chance other cities get added if that happens.

That will be entirely up to the promoter. I suspect this will not be a cheap ticket and there are markets that economically likely won't support the show. It's a win/win for SN though...she gets to play arenas and either stay out with Rod or take the money and go back out with her band to support the new record.

Who knows, maybe her recording of "These Dreams" wouldn't have been a hit. Some things are not meant to be. Regardless, her career seems to be going pretty well when you compare it to most other classic rock acts. who are playing at fairs and wouldn't conceive of making a new album.
