It was this response that had me thinking this Rod Stewart development caught Dave by surprise. UGH! I so want this RS fiasco to go away.

That's was my 1st thought. It's a dirty money grubbing business, not for the faint of heart. Though I hope Stevie fought hard on Dave's behalf, and the promoters/lawyers/managers and record co. got their way!!.

What i don't understand though is i specifically asked him was about the rumor of Stevie and Rod touring and not him? To which you all know he said "Yeah they jumbled up the Stewart's" with a "" face? Wouldn't that lead all of you to believe he was saying yeah it will be me and not Rod? Let's not jump to conclusions. Dave is a teaser and has quite a sarcastic streak in him, so he could be saying these things in jest.

Now, he did say he would not be on Ellen, which is a pretty strong confirmation, so who knows?

And i have to think, Warner Bros. and her management could have given Stevie an ultimatum: If you don't tour with who WE want, we will only spend X amount of dollars in promoting your album. With Tom Whalley out of the picture, Stevie has one less advocate in that company.
