Does anyone know of this will be available on the Ellen website, or any other one? We don't get the show in the UK and I love Ellen! I've watched hours of interviews on youtube - I really like her interviewing style - and this promises to be a very interesting show!! If I can;t see it at all then I'm counting on Ledgies to give me as close to a transcript as possible - haha!

Does anyone know what time the Ellen show tapes? I'm pretty sure she tapes the day before air date. On her website, you can watch four live webcam feeds for the studio and backstage -- I don't know how to capture that, maybe some wonderfully adept person here does?

We need a few Ledgies willing to cut class or work and get to the Ellen taping.
We have the airdate, the 13th, but it is possible it could be filmed in advance, so anyone traveling should sleuth it out. Should be a piece of cake for the two Ledge members I first think of who might be ones who would try to make the taping

I don't have a ticket, but I *might* try going. Have Craig Ferguson tickets next week, and my friend is taping something for Showtime too. Hate LA, but this is the kind of trainwreck I think I have to see in person.

**Just to add, it doesn't look like it will tape on the 13th, since "day of taping" tickets are available up until 12PM PST. I wonder if we can reliably assume it will tape on Wednesday?

Chances are "Rod" was a misprint. Stevie and Dave Stewart are both promoting their upcoming albums. It stands to reason that they will be appearing together on Ellen. My guess is that they will perform the duet song that appears on both of their albums.

To everyone tweeting Dave about anything related to Stevie. I think she said on her website that Dave will only tweet stuff with her permission. So yes, Le sigh.

On the topic of the Ellen show, I have it set to tape on my PVR for 10 am, 11 am, 1 pm, 5 pm, and 10 pm, roughly, just in case one of them is interrupted or one is not the new episode, but a re-run. I think I have to work Thursday, so one of these times has to be successful. Determined.

But Stand Back is Stevie's perennial TV appearance song, & the fact that Rod recorded his own version of it lends the possibility of their performing it together a lot of weight.
