The living curtain (look) can be so pretty sometimes though. Everyone should try it.

Yeah, Blue Denim is my least favourite too. The song does nothing for me, and I think the video is far less intresting than all of the others too...

The Edge video you are referring to... is that the one where she's standing in front of some blinds looking at a photograph while speaking lines from the song. And at one point she's holding a doll. I'd have to vote for that. It always reminded me of those 1-900 phone sex commercials. And for such a powerful song there could have been a really intense video.

Speaking of the Scarlett version of Stand Back, I used to have a book that was put out by Rolling Stone, I think it was just called The Rolling Stone Book of Videos or something like that. It had a whole chapter on the filming of the infamous original Stand Back video written by the people who made it. I remember reading this way back in the 80's just wishing that someday I'd get to see this video somehow. I was thrilled to death to get it on a bootleg VHS in the 90's and especially thrilled to have it on the CV DVD. But I wish I had that book now, I would totally transcribe that whole chapter for you guys. It was a scream. Those guys were so pissed she scrapped the whole video because, in their words, she felt she looked too fat in a few of the shots.

Yes. That's the "Edge" video with the doll and spoken lines.

Stevie may have thought she looked fat in the "Stand Back" (Scarlett Version) video, but the video was a hot mess anyway.

I always thought it was so odd that she's singing this heartfelt song and she's smiling and mugging for the camera like she's on stage at a karaoke bar during a bachelorette party.

This breaks my heart. I think 'Talk to Me' is absolutely fabulous. Especially the shots of her in the brown cape on the bed! Oh, and can't forget to mention the fabulous blue outfit we see her in for a few seconds.

THAT is one of my FAVORITE shots of Stevie ever. It reminds me of the blue fairy from pinochio. and when i was a kid i called stevie "the magic lady" and THAT was further evidence. If Everyday is GLINDA, then Talk to was THE BLUE FAIRY. Magical Stevie
