is your favorite (between LB's original version, SYW version, AOL version, or the NBC versions)?
mine is the AOL version. i don't know why, but part of it is the way lindsey's voice rises as he says "soon all the suns will riiiiiiise" after the bridge. none of the other versions seems to have that, but i think it's a good touch. |

The original LB solo version. The much faster beat is SOOOOOO much better than the SYW version. It's almost depressing listening to the SYW version directly after listening to the LB version.

the single (AOL) version. Having those two voices together REALLY makes this song! I doubt it would have been the first single if it hadn't been both of them singing on it.

I love my Lindsey by himself for the most part...and that includes PK with just Lindsey. I'm listening to it right now and it just sounds better to me than the ones with Stevie. It does lose some punch on the album. I agree with seteca, Lindsey's is much faster and has a better groove, IMO. I love the song regardless, but my fave is Lindsey's.

Definitely the solo version. It lost a lot of it's edge on the album version; the SYW version is too watered down. Not as much of a rock 'n roll song. Personally, I don't even care for the album version, but I love Stevie's vocal. I end up skipping the song.

It's funny you should ask. I was listening to the AOL version on the treadmill the other day and I was really getting into this song. I thought "This song is finally starting to grow on you." It mad me want to break into a little trot. Now if I could just hear a different version of Silver Girl...
