I wouldn't label it a bomb, but rather a major disappointment. But then again I think the absence of Christine probably accounted for a loss of 300-500K in CD sales. Every article and review mentioned she wasn't on the record and that her voice was missed.

I personally don't think the woman should be made to tour, but they should strongly encourage her to continue in the studio with the band, even if just to add keyboards and harmonies. If she did contribute a few songs, they don't HAVE to release them as singles. Then there would be no pressure to HAVE to perform her songs in concert. But for the overall CD sound, her voice would complete the FM sound, and I bet CD sales would once again top 1 million.
