Cinabon is this chain of places in malls that make giant cinammon buns (it's enough for 3 people). When hot and fresh (as in not premade and from a box on the side there), it's delicious. They have mini ones too, but they just aren't as good as the giant ones.

Great, now I'm hungry and have an urge for either than or an Auntie Ann's pretzel. Maybe I'll figure out a way to get the lot of over here to NY and then to Smith Haven Mall so I can get all of you this stuff

Americans really make ridiculous food portions. Man V Food really opened my eyes. It makes me sick to think how much food is actually wasted in these big eat places. How many people could actually be fed by the amount of food thrown away on a daily bases.

I have no idea, but that show is nuts. I think he's also had very spicy things too and it's probably even more fun watching him try and eat that than stuff his face with a ton of food.

Speaking of large portions, i found that out the hard way when I was 13 and visited Cali. In the CityWalk are by Universal Studios Hollywood, there's this steakhouse where, little did I know, that the portions are so big they were meant to be shared and was left wondering why i could get through barely half of my meal

I just had the biggest salad in the world(Elaine would be proud). I've gained about 6 lbs during the holidays, and they WILL leave. I shouldn't have finished the salad, but it was sooo good. TONS of green pepper, onion, and tomatos, with some chicken strips on top. But at least it was almost all veggies. I had a couple of beers before dinner, so it's now nap time! Gotta catch up, after last night, before I topple Nashville, tonight!

I've just done some sums and realised roughly how much my next costume project is going to cost, just for fabric, never mind contact lenses or wig. Ouch.
JTIS.

I'm glad I'm not making, for this very reason. My Agnetha costume has cost a pretty penny but thankfully it's been spread out because I'm using some things that I already have. I thought about making a Princess Leia costume but I just don't have the time what with the invitation coming so late and school

What costume are you making next?

I'm doing Blind Mag from Repo!: The Genetic Opera. I've found the perfect fabric but for a full length coat with a wide hem it's working out pretty dear. It is perfect, though, and pure silk, so I'm sorely tempted.

Last year I made this, and swore I'd never do anything as mad or expensive again. For silk, though, it could be worth it ...

This isn't Agnetha from ABBA, by the way, is it?

Oh goshh I'm almost drooling at the thought of a floor length silk coat. I miss my machine Your costume last year full on deserved it's 1st place!

Yep! Sure is. I wanted to go as Frida because she's my girl but nowhere online has her yellow cat dress and I can't afford yet another wig

Yikes, Georgie. You really want to wear that dress of hers? It's so short I can see her smile, and I'm not talking about her face.

Aww, thank you! The beauty of it is that it's a "costume" that I could actually wear out in day-to-day life. Those words "floor-length silk coat" just sent shivers down my spine... Can you tell I'm a sewing nerd?

Frida was always my girl too You'll have to post photos!

I've bought this one which isn't as short but I know I will end up taking it up and in wether it's for the party or to wear it as a shirt afterwards.

(refraining so so so hard from posting a very innapropriate comment about how much I fancy Frida.)

I can but I know exactly what you mean. My nana taught me to sew before I could talk properly andfor me, there's little comparable to running something you've made yourself through your fingers. I hand stitched myself a pair of Stevie legwarmers that I never posted on here.
