I do like live music! I visited Grand Ol' Opry when I went to Nashville years back and had a fantastic time. Listening to music with so many other people enjoying it too is just about as much fun as is possible to be had Downtown Nashville is where our Hotel was placed and believe me, I was glad of it. So much life to it.
It is ALIVE! Nashville is my favorite place on Earth. I might go to the Opry this week. I like it much better at the Ryman Auditorium. And they move it there, every winter, usually from Thanksgiving weekend, until March 1st.

Bee, thanks for being a positive, uplifting person! I like you!

Sounds like you had a great time last night. Sadly, I've never been nowhere near Nashville (I've only seen the South when my dad makes my family drive to Florida to visit my grandparents, a 25 hour drive where the money he saves on airfare ends up being double that in pain), but is there anything to do there for someone who doesn't like country music?

And as for your Chris impression, ten bucks says she'll chuck wine in your face if you did it in front of her (and I wanna be there to witness it!)

I don't have an abrasive personality. You do, and you think this is some sort of pissing contest, where you might get Ledgies to get your back, against me. That is known as TROLLing. Keep trying, and maybe you can earn another suspension from here. I love my fellow man, and my fellow Ledgies, regardless of your misconceptions of me. You don't know jack sh*t about me. PM Sara1998, or Michelle2677, or David O, or Chili, and ask them what kind of person I am. Because they know what kind of person I am.
Please just leave me alone. Thank you.

Even when I vacation in FL, I always at least stop and spend the night here, when passing through.

I want her to chuck it in my face, slap me, and tell me what a stupid f*cking shirt I'm wearing!

I can see exactly why it would be your favourite place. I took a great liking to it the day I stepped foot in it. I just wish I could have stayed longer. But it was the last leg of the full Elvis tour (I paid for me and my Dad to go for a birthday gift. We started off in Memphis (pretty dead compared to Nashville), went through Mississippi, Tupelo, Alabama for some reason, Chatanooga and then finally Nashville. I was begging my Dad to take me to Clarkseville just so I could get my picture taken at the train station (Yep. Monkees fan) but there was nothing doing. Oh well. Still got to do everything I wanted to do and bought the most marvellous singing Teddy dressed like Elvis in his Jailhouse Rock getup. It sings Devil In Disguise. I luffs it

Yet. You go around shutting down Stevie fans every which way. You say you have nothing against Stevie, but want to smack all of us 'Chiffonheads,' which I really don't understand because it is definitely not a crime to love Stevie. She means a lot to us, & if you don't like that, float. Really, leave us alone. Thank you. I'm sure I wouldn't be very welcome here if I started saying I hated all you Christine fans, or fans of anything else.

Shutting down? Do you mean putting down?
"Smack" was a joke with Chili.
And FWIW, I don't even open the Stevie forum. Because I don't care to.

Yeah, we have stopped and spent a night in GA, but there were a few times we did, in fact, drive through the night. I still remember the weird traffic jam on I-95 at 3 in the morning in SC, where the cars were bumper-to-bumper and, on the side of the road, there were tons of empty cars, some of which still had their engine running. To this day, I still joke that there was probably an alien abduction

How long does it take for you to get to FL? The 25 hour thing was if I was going to my grandparents' condo in West Palm Beach, but 22 hours for Disney World (yes, Disney World, but I'm a big kid at heart and I can tell you that, from my last trip in August, Harry Potter Land isn't worth it)

Yeah, my friend and I went to Memphis once. And once was enough. It was okay, but I feel that Nashville just blows it off the map. Memphis felt ghetto-y. 2PM in the afternoon, and you had to play hopscotch, just to jump over the bums passed out on the sidewalks. I did enjoy Graceland, though, and Sun Studios. I'll probably make it back there, someday.....

Alien abduction?

Bloomington IN to Tampa, or Orlando, is 1000 miles, which takes 16 hours, driving like a race car driver(me). Nashville only takes me 4 hours(although I beat my record, last time, and set a new one, of 3:43- laws may have been broken! )

Haha. I know what you mean! I wasn't even allowed to go walking on my own because it was a rough time of the year (around Thanksgiving) and so all the down and outs came out to play.

I preferred Studio B to Sun Studios. I was yelled at in Sun Studios because my flash on my camera accidentally went off. Oopsie. But I actually got to stand where Elvis stood, play the piano people like Johnny Cash and Skeeter Davis played at Studio B. It was magical. We even got to record an Elvis Song ourselves as a souvenir *wonders where her Dad put the CD*.

Yeah, alien abduction. Weird things do happen when you travel down to FL, like leaving your Burger King on the roof of your car and wondering where it is when you get back to the hotel (that happened once when I was little)

As for driving down to Nashville that fast, I hope for your sake that there weren't a lot of traffic cams in the area

Yeah, it was cool, standing where Elvis stood. Kinda SPOOKY! And we went next door, and ate the fried peanut butter and banana sandwiches, just like the King! Hooh!

Haha, I was almost an hour late to that party, last night, because I couldn't find my phone, halfway there, and was terrified that I'd put it on the roof or something. It had squeezed itself out of my tight jeans pocket, and was lying in my yard. Took me forever to find it! I kept calling it, from my land line, but didn't hear it. I kept retracing my steps, over and over, and finally saw the LED flashing, out in the grass.

I was pretty much driving with the traffic, today, about 82-83mph, the whole way. The record breaking time, traffic was going 90, so I just got in line! People always FLY through Kentucky....probably to get the hell out, before they get buggered, or their teeth fall out!

(Michellebunchofnumbersaftername, that ones for you!)

I've never tried to get Ledgies against you
. You do that all on your own with your stunning way of abusing people, especially fans of Stevie Nicks. I know plenty about you Dave because you talk about yourself all the time. The four people you mentioned are members you are actually nice and respectful to on a regular basis. You have never been nice or respectful to me, EVER.
