Default Time for new SYW single

Peacekeeper has stalled as a single. I think the video is not going to change that. To keep the album in the top 10 they have to release SYW as a single ASAP! If the album stalls and continues to slip from the charts it won't get a boost from the tour like the Dance did. The TV broadcasts of the Dance did that and boosted the record and the tour. SYW is on the way down. It needs a quick lift before the tour starts or the tour will be far from a sell-out.

Release another single NOW! There's no doubt it will be SYW, although I'd maybe choose another. What say you?

I kind of hope that they release Thrown Down. I think that would be a hit. It just has pop radio all over it. It kind of reminds me a little of one of my favorites, Gypsy. Just has the same vibe.
Guess we'll find out sooner or later...just dont wait too long MAC!!!

There really is no other choice besides Say You Will---not that it means there aren't other great songs, but no other song on the record has considerable hit potential.

I think quite a few have a good tempo and melody to them and would make fine hits. Miranda, WTWCT, EFO, Destiney Rules, Thrown Down... so there may not be a #1 hit in there, but surely enough songs to release to generate more interest.

RTTG or EFO would be great singles!!!!! Lindsey had his song and now it's time for Stevie.

I think either one would rock. Even Thrown Down, which is a good song as well.

They need to release a really hot video with it

Why all this anxiety about the tour being a sell-out?

EFO as the next single would be absolutely awesome! I'm sure it would be a top 10 hit...if not no.1! Aggghhh...I just wish these people would make a proper video or two...!! Anyone seen the new Simply Red video...? All I can say is...........

(p.s. If anyone is wondering...the video has about 5% Mick Hucknall and 95% models dressed in practically nothing tanning and dancing in clubs.)

It would be kind of silly of Reprise to release a new single with "Peacekeeper" still GAINING airplay at radio. It had over 3100 plays last week on AAA, AC and Hot AC combined (both AC and Hot AC are historically slow moving charts anyway). That's pretty damn good for a "veteran" act in this day and age of "radio ga-ga"

If I had to decide i'd go for something different.

Illume!

Why?

- It's a Stevie song
- The music is interesting.
- Lyrics are good. 911 was a long time ago, but there's still a lot of "what we've been through" **** going on in the world.
- I think this song evokes a lot of imagery. ( a music directors dream)

Of course it would need to be edited

whatcha think about that idea?
