OK, since holidayroad isn't here today, and i don't celebrate Xmas (I'm Jewish, and a horrible one at that

) and I'm doing all the things most Jews do on Xmas (today it's deli from the Kosher butcher, tomorrow I'm going to the movies to see Tron). Anyways, for today, I mentioned Tusk home movie footage and a funny bit. To prove to Bee, that bit is at 2:44-45. For everyone else, while Lindsey does look hot here, it's interesting to see his genius at work.

I knew it was Gift Of Screws! Where the hell did I get Love Runs Deeper from though, lol? Gah. Silleh mind. Thank you for posting the video, anyway! It's personally one of my favourites. Because you can see him not only "arsing about", as the English would so eloquently put it, but interacting with the fans. You can see how much joy he gets from it and that's enough to make me happy

Well, he had been singing Love Runs Deeper just a few seconds earlier, so I can understand why it stayed in your mind.

Looking at the clip, I was reminded of how much I love the song. The live performance was stellar, but the lyrics are so great. Yes, I know Kristen is credited with some of them, but I really find it hard to believe. I love how the tears are steel become of the glint of (shadow) moonlight on his face. Also, the idea of "steel tears" strikes the same dichotomous key as "velvet glove" and I marvel at those little touches.

The words are as singular and evocative as Miranda's.
