Well I didn't want to scare you and you're the only one who's there to kind of tell how bad it is, but things like that do happen once water has set in.

Haha you didn't scare me, it was the first thing that came to mind when I came back inside and water was drizzling down my walls and out of my light fixtures. I work at a grocery store and one day it was raining really bad and the ceiling was leaking and then BAM the ceiling collapsed.

Water can cause havoc. Up in Ohio a few years back our (I believe it was Sears or McAlpins one) we had a huge downpour all day and finally the mall's flat roof had caved in from all the water weight and damaged the entire Dept. store inside. So yeah, it's no joke what it can do.

It doesn't feel too bad out right now but I can hear the palm fronds bending in the breeze that's picking up. I think your nasty winter weather is trying to force it's way down here. Keep your winter weather up there!!!

Okay, it is freakin' COLD out, y'all. Waiting to see if school is delayed or cancelled tomorrow. Seems like most area schools are closed already, but my kids' new school is not listed yet.

We live just short of a mile away from the school, which means they have to walk when Cute Guitar Boy is not here to drive them, which means I have to walk with them, because I think they are too little to walk almost a mile to school by themselves.

I actually don't mind that, because I could totally use the exercise. BUT when it is like 10 degrees out with a wind chill of -15, I physically can't do it - I have Raynaud's syndrome, and if I get too cold, all sorts of bad things happen to my hands and feet. Like, my feet are purple just from taking the dog out for like 5 minutes a little while ago, so walking a mile to school and then a mile back home - while good exercise that I would otherwise enjoy - is NOT a good idea. Sigh.

I can't let them walk by themselves...but I don't want them to miss school... but I also don't want my feet to fall off. Rock...me...hard place. Blah!

This week has been pretty ****ty and this has been the only thing to make me laugh the whole week. I cannot stop listening to it. Warning, there is explicit language in it and derogatory remarks! Someone prank called this "angry black man" and then they made his responses into a soundboard and prank called this woman with it. I cannot stop laughing. Especially since she is arguing with a computer!

Ooh, I totally feel you. I have Raynaud's as well--when it's really cold, I'll lose feeling in a couple of fingers and toes from a couple of minutes outside. I went to college in Vermont for a year, and just could not handle the weather. I transferred to a school in NYC this year, and although I had academic and social reasons as well, the cold was a serious factor in my leaving lol.

Hope it's cancelled!

Russian 'pirated' releases of greatest hits albums by plenty a band, here's a link to the most recent one I saw (With the usual 'randomized' track listing) :

I feel so ill at the moment. Urgh. Why do I always get Flu around Christmas? It's not fair. I have such a busy week for deadlines too so I don't even have time to rest. Goddang it.

I'm sure many will be fooled, and then become a huge fan of the band.
