I'm not talking about just any old schmatta. I'm talking specifically about the modern (urban) incarnation of the do-rag:

I mean, unless you are crossing the Sahara Desert on a camel, what's the point of wearing this nasty-looking polyester thing?

Nowadays the thugs wear the do rag's tied in the back. The hangdown look (picture)you posted went out with last century. I find it to be very sexy. What I like is a man with a crew cut and a do rag. No one deserves to be called every name in the book. I'm sorry you feel the need to be so aggressive. I'm not attracted to bald headed men with shiny forheads but I wouldn't go around abusing them for looking that way.

I woke up today with snow on the ground
It's not much probably less than an inch but it's white outside and it makes me really happy. I was getting jealous of some of you on here talking about having snow already.

Oh I'm so happy

...but I guess it's okay to call them "thugs." I just think it's a yucky look- the same way I hate trucker hats, Ed Hardy shirts and saggy pants. It's just plain douchebaggery. Furthermore, I don't think "thugs" should worry about being "abused," since I suspect the "abuser" would not stand a chance of surviving for very long.

I just tried to make grilled cheese and it was a pretty much fail. I flipped it because I thought it was burning but it was just sizzling from the butter and like half my cheese fell out and it's all smushed. It still tastes good but seriously at 18 I should be able to make grilled cheese.

I need to take cooking lessons from my grandmother.

I used to cook mine in the microwave! It left the bread untoasted, but hey, atleast it was warm and the cheese was melted! Luckily my skills have improved and I can make a pretty damn good grilled cheese, but that is about as far as my cooking goes.

Found out yesterday that I need to have THOUSANDS AND THOUSANDS of dollars worth of dental work this year. Including braces, at 42 years old. The braces are not only for cosmetic purposes either. Guess I'd better get this all paid off before it's Laney's turn.

I need two implants, to the tune of $6000-7000.00.
So I'm doing without(yes, they're in the back, where they can't be seen.....IF they were visible, I'd come up with the money). Both, were root canals, gone bad(the tooth broke, while he was trying to do a root canal, so all he could do, was pull it).

This type of music is a huge part of my heritage. This reminds me of My Grandpa and me singing in the living room of his house. Love it!!

Yep. I started some of my mid-life dental restoration projects last year- scaling, fillings, root canal, crown, etc. It's absolutely worth it because it sure beats losing your teeth when you're old. I have just one more big project- a gum graft in the back . My dentist is a god. Never felt a thing.
