It's funny that even though I think I know Lindsey's voice (heaven help me if I don't), I sometimes have a hard time hearing him on background vocals outside of FM. Like Magnet and Steel, I don't hear him.

Michele
I swear, for years I thought a black female was singing harmony on Christine's "Who's Dreaming The Dream." it wasn't until I read the liner notes when I made the connection with Lindsey.

I hear Lindsey clear as day on "Magnet.". He does a number of solo " ooh... ooh ooh ooh-oohs."

I definitely hear Lindsey screaming on Egan's Where's the Party, if that entitles me to any form of redemption.

Ears are funny, because I've heard people say that they can't hear Stevie on Over My Head. Sure, they hear her live, but not on the studio version. And I'm like, "What?"
She is nearly all I hear on that song.

I hear everything coming together on that song and I think this is where Fleetwood Mac began. Don't kill me Chili.

Though it's not credited on his album, can you hear Christine singing backup vocals on Shadow Of The West? I can.

While out for my morning walk today I was thinking this very same thing. Especially because I don't want to deal with Winter. So if March was here It'd be that much closer to Spring. I was thinking that by Stevie giving those interviews in August about this new album and not releasing it till March it probably is a good thing because it builds up our anticipation more.

Yes, I can, but who knows, maybe it's actually Carol Ann.

Since they sound like BN, Dave should try to get Stevie and Lindsey to recreate the album cover.

I got another reply from Dave via Twitter today...

DaveyPants999

@DaveStewart Ur show last night was AMAZING Can't wait 2 have the full album Are u shooting 4 a March release date to coincide with Stevies?

DaveStewart

@DaveyPants999 yes exactly will co-incide with Stevie's

...so you know what happens when you assume? But I'll go ahead and make an ass out of myself and "assume" it's still gonna be March...and that both albums will be released on the same day? I don't know.

Ah! Thanks! But, to play the devil's advocate here, he didn't confirm March, just that it would coincide with her album. Oh Dave. Would it really be that hard to say, "Yes, March 1, 2011!"? Bastard!

Update...

Retweeted by JamieFriend12 @DaveStewart - Do you have a realese date yet for #theblackbirddiaries yet ?Can't Wait!!!

DaveStewart @JamieFriend12 - march

So I guess this means, as of today, they're still shooting for a March release date to release BOTH their albums at the same time.

I'm beginning to think this might actually happen!
