Yes! Danielle is such a creeper! Nah, I kid Some girl named Erin Top posted two shoutbacks, the first one saying "I'm a friend of Stevie's" and to tell Stevie "I'm facing many challenges with my health, my multiple sclerosis and I look forward to hearing from her." And the second saying she wanted to mention she was very excited when she heard what day they started recording the album because, as Stevie knows, it is a very important day for this Erin woman and she wants to see if Stevie can hear he Texas accent so she can remember where she was from and "all that good stuff, 'cause she'll recognize it and remember my voice!" Oh and to tell Stevie she met Sheryl Crow. What The ****!

She must have been slow

I guess I'm just weird. I have zero desire to contact/meet Stevie. I have no interest in telling her my story. I don't want to shake her hand on the Edge walk, I'd never even go near the stage. To me, I rather enjoy keeping her as a fascinating lady I'll never meet. She maintains her mystical allure that way... which sounds totally stupid, but that's the way I like it.
I understand and feel the same about your sentiments completely. Talk about "shattering your illusions of love,"...I've met and spent some time with famous people here and there, and it completely changed my perception of them...and not always for the better. I like to keep Stevie on a higher plane, and never be exposed to her more earthly presence.

I'm assuming this is a continuation of Stevie's solo album and that Lindsey must be making a guest appearance but I wonder if it could possibly be the beginning of the next Mac album?

But why did he spell it Lindsay? And why would Buckingham be there if they are done recording? Stevie does not want him producing a Mac album, much less a solo Stevie album!! And why would they start up Mac stuff now?? Oh so many questions!!

^Who knows, perhaps these rumblings of the Mac touring this summer are true... and it's to back a new album. We do know that Stevie and Lindsey have both insisted on an outside producer if another album were to be made. That's where Dave fits in the puzzle for sure. I don't know how likely it would be that a Mac album is secretly being recorded right now, though. However, I do know that Hell would likely freeze over before Lindsey would appear on a Stevie solo album... so we can cross that idea off the list!

What I'm guessing might be happening is Stevie is talking all this forward movement from her new solo project, and is attempting to see if it can be transferred to making another Mac album happen as well. She very likely has songs left over from her new solo project that she feels would be good Mac tunes. We also know for a fact she's feeling more creatively inspired than she has in 3 decades. We all recognize how unhappy she was with Say You Will, and it's safe to say she won't want Fleetwood Mac's legacy to end with that album. Perhaps she's simply laying the groundwork for a Mac album while she's inspired to do so. Maybe she wants to show Lindsey some of her songs, and see if he could have a rapport with Dave in a producer capacity?

he said Stevie and Lindsay, I assume that he thought we would know who he was talking about, without explanation

TISL...hello...

Good Lord, you people act like they don't interact at all outside of FM! They've been doing this for 40 years.

True, I did forget they cooperated for Thrown Down, which ended up being shelved from Trouble In Shangri La and was reincarnated for Say You Will. It's certainly possible Lindsey leant a hand on Stevie's new album, but if that's so, why haven't we heard about it? We heard from Sheryl Crow beforehand that Stevie and Lindsey had collaborated for Thrown Down. Furthermore, why would Lindsey be involved in post-production on a Stevie album? Why would Stevie be "going back to work" if her album was in post-production anyway?

The reason I'm skeptical Lindsey is involved on Stevie's new album is because there's really no precedent for it outside of Thrown Down... which didn't end up making TISL anyway. I mean it's possible Lindsey would want to have his say on the mixing of a song he was involved with for Stevie's new album, but I just can't see him taking that kind of interest, or Stevie letting him be that involved for that matter.

He played guitar on "I Miss You"....

But, my point is that he may go by and hang out and we wouldn't know that or need to know that. I'm sure Stevie values his opinion regardless of how everyone wants to say otherwise.

Dave saying he's working with them is exciting though. It does sound like Lindsey may be playing on something.
