well, this has been a fun read. When I've seen Lindsey, I've asked him all kinds and he responded to them all supersweet, letting me know everything I wanted to know and other stuff too. I'm going to save what I have in mind for next time.

That boy!! That'd be what you might be seeing when you do talk, so I hope that gives glimpse. I do hope those that want, do have the opportunity to meet with him. He is very warm, receptive and I was instantly enamored with his eloquence. |

?? Sorry for taking it...do you mind ( please say no... )? For the life of me I couldn't recall... ![]() Thank you for the insight. It means a lot to hear from those that actually met him, that he's as beautiful ( physically AND personality wise ) and endearing as we've ( I've ) believed him to be. ![]() BTW, are you, by chance, one of the ladies in the GOS backstage video shot by Lindsey? The part where he's driving to up to the venue's back entrance and he stops to chat with a few fans ( and gives one a hug even! )? Again, when I first started lurking around the Ledge I remember reading that it was some Ledgies, but I don't remember who they were ![]()

doll, pleases me you've on display, please do enjoy as you have. I don't recall seeing the specific fan interaction you've mentioned, but that wouldn't have been me. I know there are GOS road vids, but seemed as soon they were putup they were prettymuch shutdown before I had time to soak in the visual deets; shame what happened to his youtube, really.

One question:
What was going through your mind the second Mick asked you to join Fleetwood Mac? Fear? Stress? Euphoria? All of the above? And did you really (in your heart of hearts) want Stevie to join with you?

![]() The videos are actually still on Youtube, but you can't see them on his channel, which, like you said, has been stripped bare This is the one I was referring to - and he doesn't hug her...he gives her a friendly kiss ( starting at about 2:10 )!! : ![]()

Was there something said at one time about an issue with that song being on the album? IMO it's so much better than the Buckingham/Nicks version. His voice is softer and has more feeling. Christine's addition of the Fender Rhodes is amazing and the long outro instrumental as it fades out is perfection. Just wondering if there is some info behind that song that inspired you to ask the question is all.

Thanks for the info, but I'm sure glad John pushed for it. Turned out twice as good IMO.

It's been 15 years since these Ledgies posted their questionnaires. I wonder if they'd ask different things today.
A little late, but here I go. 1. What is your favorite Fleetwood Mac Christine song? 2. Would you collaborate on the screenplay for a movie or miniseries about Fleetwood Mac? 3. Your favorite John bassline? 4. How was the decision to have you sing Crystal instead of Stevie? 5. Does it make you laugh when you hear that a particular song of yours is about Stevie and it's not at all?

My questions would likely all be related to his songs. Some questions have multiple components.
1) "I Know I'm Not Wrong" went through several iterations in the studio. What about that song in particular required this amount of attention? Is there a reason why the original vinyl mix was replaced with a different mix with more overdubs for different editions of the album? Which mix do you view as the definitive version? 2) From the White Album to Mirage, your songs were often passed over as singles and favor of compositions from Christine McVie and Stevie Nicks. Which songs of yours do wish were more successful? 3) Beginning with Mirage through Out of the Cradle, Richard Dashut was credited as credited as a co-writer on several of your songs. How did he contribute to songs like "Empire State", "Family Man" and "Street of Dreams"? 4) From the Tango in the Night recording sessions, You and I Part II appeared as the final track of the album whereas Part I could only be found on the B-side of "Big Love". At one point, both songs were combined. What was the rationale to split the songs and why was Part I omitted from the album? 5) Of your five songs from Mirage, only "Eyes of the World" has been performed live (barring a lip-synched rendition of "Oh Diane" from Top of the Pops). Is there a reason why your other four compositions from this album have been overlooked? Are you willing to perform any of them for future tours? Is there a reason why you dedicated a song on the album to the State of New York? |

It is interesting that between Mirage and Law And Order, Eyes Of The World and Trouble have been featured in multiple live performances. Lindsey did Bwana on SNL in 1982 and that one time on tour in 2006 but that's it.
