It's hard to say, because SYW is so new. BUT, as of right now, my rankings would be:

White
Rumours
Say You Will
Tusk
Mirage
Tango

And The Dance ties around 2 or 3.

Definitely beats Tango and Mirage for me, and even Tusk by a smidgeon.

TUSK

Rumours

Say you will

Mirage

White

Tango

I am considering the album as a whole here.. not just how many "hits" there were..... The Dance doesnt count as its not a studio album

Tusk was just pure Perfection... youthfull Stevie.. a very relevant Christine.... Lindsey going wild with creativity.....Tango had some good songs.. but was too disconnected ... Stevie was barely noticeable

4) Fleetwood Mac
5) Tango in the Night

7) Mirage

Gimme about a year of listening to it...THEN I could probably give a more accurate answer...basically, cuz I'll be comparing it to ALL of Fleetwood Mac albums, not just from 1975 forward.

Say You Will can't touch the 70s triumvirate of Fleetwood Mac, Rumours and Tusk. (What album can?)
But I'd put it way ahead of Tango in the Night and Mirage. (And light years before Time and Behind the Mask.)

Arrow Rumours lineup only...

Here I'm doing something against technical stuff... I'm taking Behind The Mask even though it's not a Rumours lineup album (does not have Lindsey but Billy and Rick instead), and Say You Will even though it's not a Rumours lineup album either (does not have Christine).

I should order them like this:

Rumours
The Dance
Fleetwood Mac
Tusk
Behind The Mask
Say You Will
Mirage
Tango In The Night

I think. For now.

It's *really* hard to do this. I'm pretty sure about Tusk & Say You Will being my favorites. I'm less certain about the rankings of the others.

1. Tusk & Say You Will (tie)
2. Rumours
3. The Dance
4. Fleetwood Mac Live
5. Tango in the Night
6. Fleetwood Mac
7. Then Play On

(these are the only ones I've heard)

Before this album it was:

1. Tusk
2. Tango
3. Mirage
4. Dance
5. Rumours
6. White Album
7. BTM

I don't know where SYW fits right now because its so new and these other albums I have worn out.

But I guess now its right at number 2...sometimes number 1 ( depending on mood!

Just going by my current mood, and counting only the studio albums that featured at least four of the five "fireflies" as part of the main lineup....

1. 'Tango In The Night'
2. 'Say You Will' (I resisted the temptation to make this #1, given its newness)
3. 'Rumours'
4. 'Behind The Mask'
5. 'Tusk'
6. 'Mirage'
7. 'Fleetwood Mac'

Numbers 4 & 5 flip-flop pretty easily though. And sometimes I actually find myself more enamoured with 'Mirage,' than with 'Rumours'... but that could be caused by burnout of the latter.

My favorites are as follows:
1) Mirage- the first Mac album I bought
2) Tusk- Great songs from all the band members
3) Tango In The Night-which was the long awaited return
4) The Dance- Another return which was awesome
5) Rumours- Classic and Timeless
6)Fleetwood Mac Live-Kick A$$ versions of So Afraid and Not that Funny.
7)Bare Trees- Christine and Danny have some of their best work on this album
8)Say You Will- Nice but still very new to me and I know that someday it may move up this list in higher ranking

Well Lindsey's GOS tracks have always been my favourite work of his, so couple that with Stevie's best work this side of Tusk, along with the very broad palette that SYW offers, and I rank it at the top:

1. SYW
2. Rumours
3. TITN / The Dance
4. Tusk
5. FM
6. Mirage
