An alcoholic beverage had before an unpleasant task. Well that explains a lot. Sadly, I don't think we had anyone like that in the US

He probably does it because he knows he's sexy when he does it. Or maybe you're right. Stevie takes the time to lower hers, she constantly adjusts that thing.

FYI It is easy to ruin the mic adjustment...so I try to never touch it!
Once you do and it squeals ... you back off! Very embarrasing!
