Has anyone noticed this...?

When Stevie rpeats the line "I am what I am" over and over and the effect makes her speech slow down, she sounds like she does nowadays? I mean, she has a deep, low, husky voice like she does presently. She sounds just like she does today. I think it's kinda odd!

Was this really Stevie though? I know that a lot of "Stevie's" parts in TITN were done by LB through some sort of computer or something...because she wasn't really around too much during the recording of the album.

That was definitley Lindsey with the voice machine.

No, I think it's Stevie's singing. But Lindsey then put it through the voice machine to give it that deep voice effect. I'm 100% positive that it's her. They had a lot of tech in the eighties, but I don't think anything was good enough to be THAT realistic. Plus, in the extended version, you can clearly hear more of her. It's her.
