David, can you explain the origins of this version? Stevie performed "Kind Of Woman" that night??? How cool!!!!
I thought "Kind Of Woman" and "The Highwayman" were the only two songs not performed from Bella Donna ~ how exciting!!! I love "new" News!!! |

Off topic but I will b/c I can:
I'm having a love fest today with Goodbye Baby. I absolutely love the way it was done as the finale on the SYW tour and the harmonies with the girls were soooo lovely. Between the live version, studio version, The Tower demo, and the channel center mix, I'm set. Oh and Destiny Rules DVD! I guess I'm just looking for some GB love right now so show some! I'm totally over thinking it's about her aborted child and I really don't care anymore. It's just a divine masterpiece. |

So you guys know my new obsession is Maker of Birds but I was thinking about something the other day and wanted to see if you guys knew.
To me, it doesn't seem to have a chorus. It's just verse after verse and I think some of them repeat like a pre-chorus but no real chorus. Am I wright or wrong? If I am wrong please tell me what lines you think the chorus are. Thanks. |

On another note it could ruin the song if the chorus turns out to be weak i.e. Listen to the Rain and I know I'm going to get **** for this but I think the chorus of the song Wild Heart is much weaker than the verses. Still a great song, that's just my opinion. |

Lindsay, I love all of "Wild Heart", but I do agree that the verses are stronger than the chorus.
"The Maker Of Birds", however, tells a story, so I don't need it to have choruses. |

Does anyone have an MP3 of Lady from the Mountain, from the RAL sessions? I had a look around, but I can only find the Bella Donna demos. Does anyone have it?

Max, this version of "Lady From The Mountains" from the Rock A Little sessions is the best I've found:

You're welcome. It's a great one, isn't it?
Never give up on finding your Stevie Demos & Outtakes! Dreams can come true! BTW, any real studio outtakes of "Dreams" out there? Not alternate or "early" mixes where Stevie's voice is exactly the same as on the album, but a totally different vocal. |

Wooah, that's a Rock A Little outtake? Good grief, for a good 7 months I've been convinced it was from the 70s.
