Dave mentions Stevie's "forthcoming album" in new Billboard article

[Hawkeye]

Really is the mixer gonna make THAT much of an impact on the album? And thats a question, not a statement. And on a somewhat unrelated note, why is mixing so difficult that it's the one thing Lindsey doesn't do himself. He has on past projects the past 30 years, played nearly all instruments at times, produced the album, engineered the album, spent a decade talking about an album, but he never learned how to mix an album. Is mixing such a specific skill, that only a select few out there are able to do it,l even someone with the vast multi level musical knowledge of Lindsey?
