Default Bare Trees - Winners Battle

The battle of Favorite Song from Bare Trees has begun. Its "Sentimental Lady" vs "Spare Me a Little of Your Love" vs "Sunny Side of Heaven" and... "Thoughts on a Grey Day" just to be fair since it is on the album and didn't fit in anywhere else.

Poll closes in 4 days on Monday, Nov 1st.

Can't believe Dust is not on that list. It's by far and away the best song of the album.

Where is "Dust"? "Thoughts on a Grey Day" isn't an FM single like "Albatross", or "Dragonfly". It's an elderly English woman who talks. Yet that "song" is more important than "Dust"? Please change this soon, unless you want to show you really aren't a fan, and have a lack of knowledge of this period of Fleetwood Mac.

I don't think it has anything to do with whether he is a fan or not. 'Dust' was unfortunately outvoted in the 'Favorite Danny song from Bare Trees' poll by 'Sunny Side of Heaven'.

Did the people complaining about Dust not being in the final tally vote for it in teh Danny poll?

As for Buckingham doing "Sunny Side" and not "Dust" during Rumours era touring... well, Buckingham can't sing as pretty as "Dust" requires but he can PLAY "Sunny Side" :-P

Fleetwood Mac helped me through a time of heartbreak. 12 years later, they broke my heart.

Lindsey would've probably taken "Dust" and reworked it until it sounded like "Big Love" anyway.

For the Favorite Danny song poll, "Dust" got 5 votes, while "Sunny Side of Heaven" got 6 votes. If there would have been a tie, then I would have done a sudden death round with those 2 songs...

It wouldn't be fair to add "Dust" to the winners battle, since it did not win the other poll. Check out how close the Stevie battle for her Tusk songs went!

Thoughts on a Grey Day might not be a "song" but it was on the album and deserves to represented somewhere. Besides its gotten 2 votes already!

And if you think this is something, wait till the all of these album winners start battling it out! OMG!!

No "Dust" or "Go Your Own Way"... all that is left for me now is "Gypsy" ftmfw!!!

ETA: green and slip didn't vote for "Dust" in the Danny poll . . . It would have won if they had. I'm not demanding a revote, I'm surprised they are surprised.

Guess I'm to blame for this discussion. I was number 6 to vote for Sunny Side shortly before the voting ended when the score was 5-5.

And yes, there's eally gonna be a showdown when all the winners start battling. Can't wait

He would have overdubbed 100 guitar at different speeds and taken 5 years of arranging it.

Hello all: I'm also with the group preferring "Dust" to "Sunny Side of Heaven". my fault, though, for not voting. My bad! Best regards, Madelow.

I place my vote for one of my favorite Pre-Rumours era songs, and one of my favorite Christine songs...
