That's hilarious. Does she actually not like this song? Is it because of the whole Silver Springs thing? |

"I happen to really like that song…and I love singing that song with Lindsey because that was one of our Everly Brothers singing things that was really close and tight and really fun to sing…so if [Silver Springs] was going to be replaced with anything, [I Don’t Want To Know] was a good replacement." But it's still the redheaded bastard stepchild of Rumours as far as most people, and apparently the band, are concerned. ![]()

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() .. . . .. . . . .. . . . . . . . . ROFL! Only kidding XD XDI could understand why IDWK could be considered a kind of outcast of the album though. There's something about it which doesn't sit so comfortably with me. Maybe because it sounds like it was written in five minutes. Don't get me wrong, I still like it very much. It's just so simple. |

Granted it was used for the Sweet November soundtrack, but that shouldn't have prevented its inclusion on TISL, as well. Swap it out for "Too Far From Texas" and TISL would've been the absolute PERFECT Stevie Nicks album.

![]() IDWK is a simple little ditty, but I really, really enjoy it too. I agree it doesn't quite fit with the rest of the songs, but that could just be us knowing that it wasn't originally going to be there. As far as it seeming to be written in five minutes, Stevie seems to write some of her best songs in the five to ten minute range. Landslide, Rhiannon, Dreams...

I reckon that her favorite song is Storms, or some other emotional song that collecting dust inside her vault... deep in the Arizonian desert.

I don't quite get the Too Far From Texas hate either, but I guess that depends on your personal opinion of country music. I don't know about it not sounding Stevie-ish, though. She's got some serious country roots, so I think TFFT is right up her alley even though she didn't write it. Bella Donna, usually regarded as Stevie's best solo album, has a real country bent to it too. Our girl can write some straight up country songs when she wants to. Poor Me comes to mind: "Just the other night, I was out drinking..."

In the last two years, whenever I bust out TISL, I will listen to it all the way through, and I've got to say, TFFT has grown on me. I find myself singing a third harmony to the chorus and the bridge. It took awhile, but I kinda like it now. "Love Changes" will NEVER grow on me! Eck! |

To me when I first listened to TISL, TFFT sounded kind of out of place and extremely country compared to the others. I liked it though. And love changes is one of my favs! Hehe, to me it is Its Only Love that I always skip

I don't agree that it has no meaning. I derive meaning from it, but I definitely think she thinks of it as light and simplistic, regardless of how effortlessly and successfully their vocals blended on it. Michele |
