indeed. Now that she has had the "change" her "Garden" is all dried up!

Suddenly Gate and Garden makes a whole lot more sense. And if we're going to look at it that way, maybe it's about giving up her v-card! "Someone steals it away..."

These lyrics have a whole new meaning:
"Do I love you
Well I always did everynight
Nobody knows nothin' 'bout it
They know nothing 'bout it
They know nothing' 'bout it"

I love Sable on Blond too, and that line has always stuck out in a bad way in an otherwise awesome song. Then I read Stevie explaining it, and it actually made a lot of sense:

"But the song really is about learning to live with Stevie, learn to be a stranger, learn to live in silence, learn not to call on everybody else to get you out of everything or make everybody else pay for what you're going through, because you've chosen this life. Like Arthur learned with Excalibur, you do not ever call on your most precious magic unless you are literally out of other choices."

I don't really cringe when I hear it anymore, but it's still a weird, random line that needs more context within the song.

TKOL hurts my everything. I like parts of Thousand Days -- especially that line "You never cared about time before my friend."

Those are cringeworthy. I'll add "undercover music lover" to that as well.

I have to go with When I See You Again, really, if only for the awful "baby baby baby" rubbish.

Although, Stevie Nicks should never sing the words Chimpanzee or Laundromat. In my mind, Stevie doesn't even know what a Laundromat is ;_;

Exactly. I mean, could it *be* any more obvious?

When I lived in Az. I worked in a restaurant with a girl named Julie. When she found out I loved Stevie she related a story to me of how she used to work at a dry cleaners before she worked with me. She said Stevie used to bring her own dry cleaning in all the time. Julie didn't give a fu&k about our girl so I believed her.

I love 'Beautiful Child' amongst the most of many songs by her that I love.
But I kind of wish she had phrased one line that has struck some as unintentionally funny differently: "You say it will be harder in the morning"--
Sounds like a guy who wants her to 'just go' until it/he is harder in the morning.
Then, hurry on back, please.
It's still a perfect song, anyway.

Which reminds me of:

"Every night you do not come."

Maybe her vag does scare people to death!

It couldn't have scared people that bad, seeing as how she's probably gotten laid more times than all of us combined. Some people have all the luck.
