On another note, I don't know if us voting multiple times will really do any good. Some polls only allow one vote per ip address or something like that, and since others have mentioned they have voted numerous times with no change in the results that's probably the case.

Oh, it definitely counts more than once. I've managed to change some of the ladies percentages (at least early on) despite voting for them more than once. Besides, how do you think Tina Turner went from close to the bottom to close to number one in a few days time? I get the feeling that a relatively small number of crazed Tina fans finally came out of the woodwork to vote over and over. See the comments section for some of those crazed fans.

Speaking of the comments, I've noticed how fans of some of the other women talk bad about Stevie, but no Stevie fans are talking smack about the other women. I guess we're just more classy!

Just for everyone's info:

There is one Tina fan responsible for the massive increase in Tina votes - I'm in a Tina fan group on Facebook and she messages ALL the members literally every 2 to 3 weeks with some Tina related promotion, and she messaged us the other day saying that Stevie Nicks was at number 1 and that all the Tina fans in the group should vote 100 times to knock her off.. it kinda annoyed me, not least because this woman seems to do nothing but try and get thousands of people to promote Tina Turner the world over! Get a life I feel!

Let's take Tina down this weekend and get Stevie back in the lead. United we can do this. Flood the site with Stevie votes and she will kick Tina right out of the lead. Not sure when this poll ends so this might be our last chance to kick Tina out.

Yes, my thoughts exactly. Stevie Nicks fans are just more classy when dealing with public polls like this. The mean comments are really uncalled for and no matter who wins, we all know Stevie is the true and only real winner of this contest.

I will be very pleased is she comes in 2nd, even though I would prefer 1st. She gets so little press that coming in 2nd on this poll would be great for her.
