There was a vid on YouTube several years back (can't seem to find it now) of the band, Venice, playing in some teeny tiny dive bar in Los Angeles. They covered Landslide, and lo and behold, Stevie came on stage to sing it with them. I thought that was really cool of her. What's funny is that on the video, you can hear people talking, beer bottles clanging, waitresses walking back and forth, etc...yet our girl was still up on that tiny stage singing her heart out.

May 15, 1985 ~ Stevie did a surprise performance with her then-boyfriend Les Dudek at a small L.A. club called Bodega Bay. Stevie sang a wild, bluesy version of "Talk To Me', which she had just recorded (Rock A Little wouldn't be released for six more months). Stevie sang on 3 other songs, all blues/rockabilly standards, I believe.

I've seen pics of Stevie's 1989/1990 surprise performances with Venice, including one where she wore a very curly black wig, a la Cher, circa 1989.

She also played at Shine, a small club in NYC , with Sheryl Crow shortly before TISL was released.

I would be very surprised if she doesn't make an appearance at Dave's concert.

Also, just look at how many Stevie fans have frolicked all over Dave, especially on twitter since he announced he was working with Stevie. I think if he announced Stevie was there, the venue would be crowded with so many chiffonheads waiting for Stevie, it may ruin the whole vibe of his new album.

Either this guy has some inside info on a Fleetwood Mac tour/group of shows that we don't know about, or he has no idea what he is talking about and they're just performing at a corporate gig...

Precisely. This day and age, the Mac needs all the advertising and pre-exposure help they can get to fill their venues. I believe some of the arenas on the Unleashed tour were only 1/2 sold. Fleetwood Mac isn't just going to take off on tour next month without announcements, radio and print advertising, etc. Part of it is the recession, part of it is the fact they've been so erratically inactive for decades now... thus not growing or even keeping their fanbase focused.
