I haven't, no. They just freak me out. I think it was cause, when I was younger, like, 7 or so, a friend of mine stopped all of a sudden. And then got pooped on. If he hadn't stopped, I would have been pooed on.

Since then, it's become an irrational fear of all things winged and feathery.

Aww. I remember being pooped on by Birds alot when I was younger (probably because I was the "stand stock still looking up at the sky for far too long" kid) but it never led to a phobia luckily. I can understand why it would though. Nobody likes that constant threat of Avian poop bombing.

Hmm...I'm detecting a certain aroma. Vaguely nutty, exceptionally sweet with a growing essence of bullsh*t. I wonder where it's coming from...

^^
I'm not saying it's the case with anyone here; certainly not of someone's Auntie, but an aversion to birds is very common amongst pot smokers and has been written about, case studies and such, not on The Ledge.
SPIDERS- yes- was written about on The Ledge- we had 1 or 2 spider threads in August and September, several of us were being terrorized and I took it the worst, go figure. Seems it was spider season, which thankfully now seems to be over.

Haha! I'll be sure to question my Aunt under a spotlight to find out the truth XD I love it She so doesn't look the type rofl.

Oh gawd, yes! I had one last night but knock on wood the invasion seems to be over. Nothing could ever beat the six in fifteen minutes that I had to cope with during one terrifying night, all of which were at least the size of my fist *shudder*. I seriously contemplated moving out into the garden to let the family of Foxes living there protect me hehe.

Oooooh then I'll tell you my story.
I needed to take nature shots for my photo 2 class, and In had procrastinated until the day before. I took Nemo (rip) outside with me and took a million good shots of him (which I used), but before that I had saw this grasshopper on my fence so I went to take a picture of him. I got pretty super close to the grasshopper and snapped a picture...and then I realized that the film was taking so I had to go into my bathroom (that has no windows and is completely dark so that I wouldn't ruin my film)...I went back out to the grasshopper...was staring at it through my lens and waiting for a really good shot, looked over, and BAM!!! I was soooo friggin close to this damn thing. I didn't shriek. I just like...walked really quickly away from it. I took Nemo back inside and locked my back door. I told my friends that my photo teacher almost got me killed and they asked me to take a picture of the thing and put it on fb. My digital camera can zoom in pretty far, so I took it and got a good picture of the spider without getting too close to it (:

P.S. it's a black and yellow argiope...it's a garden spider and male...which is why that white thing is there. but atleast it's not poisonous lol

How 'bout posting some of those cool Nemo shots?

Locking your door won't save you from the spider who can simply crawl under that door to get at you.
