did you call out Dani for her discussions of her secret trysts with men who's lives she could have been damaging by her sharing on a public message board?

or did you want creepier? or more epic?
Hey, you're the one that brought up TEH RULES. I was just acknowledging that yes, I called you a name, and yes, that's against the rules, and yes, I am aware there are consequences when someone breaks the rules. Trust me - when I'm being melodramatic, you'll definitely know. It's much more entertaining than this has been.

Anyway, I think I got what's lit the wick on your tampon now, though! It's a jilted lover thing, right? Do I win the toaster? Yay me!

But to address your question - you clearly don't go here, because if you did, you'd know better than to ask me such a thing. I am pretty much physically incapable of not saying something when I see something I don't like. So yes - if I saw Dani doing something detrimental like you're saying, I would definitely say something. But I haven't seen her do that. And please note the difference - I'm not saying she hasn't, I'm saying I have not seen her do it.

I have seen her post about her relationships, many of which were probably not a good idea, for her OR the guy involved. I even seem to recall several Ledgies pointing that out to her, too. But I have not seen her use personally identifiable information. And to be honest - if those guys were doing something "secret" that could ruin their lives, then perhaps they shouldn't have been doing it in the first place.

That's not my issue, though. My issue here is with your behavior, not whatever she may or may not have done to you or anyone else. If you've got a problem with her, this is not the way to go about handling it. And if you proceed to post anything "creepier" or "more epic" about her in response to this, then all you're going to prove is that you are indeed a creeper of epic proportions.

But hey - whatever floats your boat.

Wow.....Trust me to be in bed when it all kicks off. Darn. I could have been handing out Popcorn and "Zombie For President" banners during the fun time. But it's refreshing to know that, just like any other fan based forum, we still get your garden variety nutjobs to liven things up once in a while. It's a shame you can't fling them over the fence and have done with it, ala Harry Potter's lovely garden Gnomes.

Wow I wish I knew you in real life so I could soak up your enchanting personality Mr. Troll *Sarcastic, scrunched up nose smileh*.

[QUOTE=daniellaaarisen;913800]Uh, who the hell are you? Seriously, I'm really curious now, especially since I have no memory of your existence on the Ledge.

I've slept on it, Danielle- Only THREE people in this entire thread have that red Y! logo to the right at the top of their posts, turns out its a Yahoo IM thing. I don't see it used a lot on The Ledge.
That big red Y! is a big clue, I'd say.
Edit: 10 minutes later...In 3 Ledge forums, (Chit Chat, Rumours & SN) I've only come across five users who have the red Y! logo in their upper right screens to the right of their user name. Maybe one of them has 2 computers, both set up the same. Locale could be another big hint, or not.
Not nice to do to Danielle.

What I'm still confused about is how my posts are any different from many other JTIS posts.... people get personal on here all the time.

WHATEVA! I'm going to class now!

All the bigred Y means, as well as other icons below location, such as the MSN IM icon, are various ways of contacting via IM (instant message) the person posting. As an example, I don't have any of those symbols as I do not have the contact info for IMing displayed in my profile.

IMO the backlash is a little overboard in comparison to what tr8boi wrote. seems like some go by the principle 'hit with an ounce of crap pounceback with 10 pounds of bull****'

Zombie, I got your back! (not that you need my help!)
We're all we've got, Stevie Nicks doesn't give a damn about anyone here!

This wins, hands down as my favorite post of the year.

Maybe, perhaps.
What I think may have been unsettling was that someone may have used another screen name to disguise who they really were just to chastise someone who never named names and was just 'working through' something by writing about it, many of us have done the same thing.
I think I know who the culprit is, and the red Yahoo IM logo that most Ledgies don't bother using in their posts kind of helped me figure it out in another forum, not Chit Chat, unless I'm wrong.
Maybe much was made of it; but see, Zombie and Daniellaariseen have both been popular fixtures here for a long time and I think it was mostly curious bemusement going back and forth, understandably.

Someone (everyone!) should check out the hilarious parody that ButterCookie posted, French and Saunders doing an awesome Fleetwood Mac sendup, complete with a spliced-in Mick Fleetwood. 'Christine' is soooo funny (Jennifer Saunders) and the song Dawn French sings as Stevie is good! It's in the 'youtube vids' thread here in ChitChat, about the third one down, from ButterCookie.

srsly, wouldnt that be up to a MOD to determine if there is a TOS violation not you playing sleuth? as to the fixtures, length of time or number of posts that any particular ledgie has or does not have should hold little weight; ive been witness to all-kinds from a first post to 30000 posts. frankly, this over an initial 'biting tongue' comment is ridic.

He'd said weird stuff before. And MY initial comment was only "well, you're a bit odd, aren't you?" which is one sentence, in response to one sentence. Sure, I could've let it go after he kept telling me how much he didn't care, but I was bored.

You're correct that it's up to moderators to determine if there's any TOS violation.
I never said that there was any violation; as for playing sleuth, I can, unsnottily, I mean, --play any dang thing I want to play, including sleuth, as long as I insult no Ledge member or intend to cause harm. I mean to do neither.
If there's a sleuth patrol; they'd be the ones to correct me, but I doubt it'd be worth anyone's effort. It was all a minor late night mystery that I made light of ("it's all SN's fault"--clearly a joke) and then the rest was just a little process of elimination I indulged in that may or may not be correct, without mentioning anyone at all specifically.

Hey guys. I've been gone for a while taking care of Nemo and doing school things. I've been super stressed out with all the crap happening now. Nemo isn't doing too well either. His bilirubin is 27.5 (10 is bad...this is horrible), and he doesn't have a chance of making it. He has renal failure too, he won't eat on his own, but he will drink water-- he just can't keep it in his body.

We have to make an appointment to take him in. My mother wanted to get him cremated so that we could keep him, but keeping his ashes would cost us $180, and we don't have the money to do that.

Side note:
I'm taking the SATs tomorrow for the first time. Wish me luck.

Oh, I am so sorry to hear thiis. My mother just had her 15 year old dog euthanized. Her vet was going to charge $189; we called the local animal shelter and they did it for $10. My mother was with him through the whole thing. She did not want to keep his ashes, but I'm sure she could have. Try and see if your local animal shelter can help.
