Doesn't bode well for a lengthy career.

Cool Livia...

if O-Who loses to Texas next month and I showed the owners of where I am employed that picture, I am sure they would fire me on the spot. They're OU diehards - oddly enough they don't give me grief about being a USC diehard - but the delivery drivers give me all kinda hell for my Okla.St. t-shirts.

Btw, my teenage niece (Who started her first job ever) works at the concession stands for Texas Tech home games...Poor girl - stuck with a job in the 'Dirtbowl' just like her dear ol' dad (Who is a Nebraska diehard and hates O-Who) and her FAVE uncle is stuck in Sooner-land!

Default Texas a bust!

Texas goes down to an ugly defeat by the lowly UCLA Bruins...and at home by 22 points. The NC hopes gone with the wind.

I watched Kansas State become 4-0 ...but the weather was distracting..

Then I went back and forth between Alabama/Arkansas and Texas/UCLA....and then I stayed with the station having 'Bama on it, cuz I just don't like you-know-who.

[on edit -- whoops, sorry BrianJ, I just saw your post in the 'Bama thread. I thought I was the only one watching KState...]

Thumbs down What a dumbass...

NORMAN, Okla. (AP)
Oklahoma has suspended receiver Jaz Reynolds indefinitely after he posted what coach Bob Stoops called ''insensitive remarks'' on his Twitter page about a gunman who committed suicide on the University of Texas campus.

An account with the handle JazReynolds posted the message, ''Hey everyone in Austin, tx.......kill yourself'' on Tuesday, the day of the suicide, followed by a disregard request 5 minutes later. The account was deactivated Wednesday.

Stoops says he is ''incredibly disappointed that someone connected with our team would react so callously.''

Reynolds, who has no catches this season, will miss at least Saturday's game between the eighth-ranked Sooners and No. 21 Texas in Dallas.

Stoops says that the ''rivalry with Texas will not come at the expense of dignity and respect.''

Think I'm going down to Eugene to check out Stanford @ Oregon. Last college football game I went to (on a whim) was the classic USC/Notre Dame game in '05, and HOLY HELL what a game.

I vividly remember watching that game...an instant classic. The like 4th and nine 40 yard pass by USC. The "fumble" out of bounds at the two stopping the clock. The best part was Charlie Weiss stomping off with yet another crushing loss to USC. Eight straight now.

I was at the 2008 game at the Coliseum: USC 38 - Notre dame 3

It's okay...I've been a K State fan for a longtime, and I am glad to see 'em back to playing Bill Snyder football.

Woo Hoo BrianJ !!! I thought of you last night.

It was so exciting to see OSU kick that 40 yd field goal..... making it 38-35 !!

I do enjoy watching the Cowboys. Back in '94 I had wanted Bob Simmons to take over for McCartney at CU but alas, we got what's-his-name...and Bob headed to OSU. I really missed him.

Oregon Ducks with a come from behind win over Stanford. Love the Duckies. Better than Gophers. Wildcats are the best.

Thumbs up Gotta say...

the Tide is rolling again, even against my Gators (Which is alright cause I like 'Bama too) - But man, does Texas suck or what? They're gonna get annihilated when they travel to Lincoln in a couple of weeks, cause they wont be playing a weak defense like Blow-U's...Go Big Red!

My Trojans lost yet again to those #$%^&* Huskies of Washington

I can't take another week of watching the Horns self-destruct. Damn it!

Aaron Williams (the receiver who fumbled the last punt) needs to be benched. If you drank every time he dropped an easy catch this season, you'd still be drunk. Horrible!

All I can say about the OU game was that at least it wasn't as bad as the UCLA game.

What about all that drama with TN and LSU? That was interesting, I still need to watch the highlights of that one.

Texas out of the polls for first time since 2002. USC also out after the Washington loss.
