SYW: Growers and Faders

Hey everyone,

Now that "Say You Will" has been out for a week or so:

1. Is there any song you initially didn't like much that you now DO like? (A grower)

2. Is there any song you initially loved that now you don't like so much? (A fader)

My grower: "Thrown Down." I liked it OK at first, but I tended to skip it. Now it's the one I listen to most. I love it!

My fader: "Goodbye Baby." I loved, loved, loved it at first _ it reduced me to tears. Now I find the chorus kind of trite and boring. I still love the way Stevie sounds on it, though.

my grower is "Say Goodbye" which was initially my least favorite track - actually, I didn't like it at all. But now, I'm listening to it quite often and beginning to see its beauty.

my fader is "Peacekeeper" mainly due to the fact I've played it to death, since it was the first track I acquired. Although I've played "Thrown Down" to death, also, it still makes me smile big time.

My grower is "Miranda". I remember listening to the Lindsey outtake and it was good, but nothing to write home about. Now, it's one of my favorites on the album! I don't know if it's the addition of Stevie's vocals or what, but I love it!

My fader would have to be "Destiny Rules". The clip that I heard of it, before the album was released, I loved. Now, it just kind of bores me.

But really I do love the whole album. I still listen to it all the way through.

WTWCT (This song didn't really hit me at first, it was okay, but eh, but now, I really love it as an opener AND I love Lindsey's "aahhh"'s at the end!!)
NMB (I REALLY love Lindsey's guitar on this!! The production of it is WAYYYYY AWESOME!!)
Thrown Down (DANG, I am LOVING this song!! Lindsey's bgv's are AWESOME and the production kicks!!)

Goodbye Baby (Eh...it's a pretty lullaby, but I dunno, it's just okay with me)
Say You Will (DANG catchy, but them singing the dang chorus 50 times at the end is annoying. LOL LOVE Lindsey's guitar tho!)
Say Goodbye (I listened to the GOS version this morning and OMG, I love it WAYYY more without Stevie....and the production is softer on the GOS version....GORGEOUS song still!)
