Okay, Ledgies, my english is terrible, and I translated shackin'up-style, but all of the judgements are from the writer. I even don't agree with him, but it is nice to see that mac is getting credit over here.

Typical seventies atmosphere
After the successful FM-reunion in 1997 the expectation was that a studio-album would follow soon, but nothing could be lesser true. Christine McVie called it a day and went back to her home country, England, to retire. Thanks to Lindsey Buckinghams’ love for working, Say You Will is there now. His songs, firstly to be meant for a solo-album, are the framework of this album. He wrote half of the songs, Stevie Nicks the other half. Thanks to spiritual leader Mick Fleetwood and John McVie Say You Will never sounds like a collection of solo-efforts. Say You Will breathes the typical seventies atmosphere from the success albums Rumours and Tusk even more than the albums they put out afterwards. The voice of the –above 50- Nicks sounds more heavy and raw but some of her dreamy songs still are “wonderfully beautiful” ( Silver Girl, Illume, Thrown Down ). Buckingham manoeuvres with his easy to recognize fingerpicking guitar-style and characteristic voice towards country (Steal Your Heart Away), and pop (Peacekeeper, Murrow Turning Over His Grave). Say You Will contains 18 (!) songs. That is a lot, but it is not too much. The variation, the perfect performances and the nostalgic sound, even relive the rumours-feel regularly. And isn’t that what we’ve always been waiting for?

come on! Everybody seems to respond negatively on the length of the album.
This review is saying so many nice things and you pick out this to respond on?
Come on Wayne 2, you can do better. .... And I did not translate this for poor reactions: Disagree with it, but with some arguments

not true. a lot of people (including the person who wrote the review) are happy with 18 tracks.

Arguments? i dont know what else can be said on lengthy albums.
