Default Outakes from Say You Will

Does anyone have any knowledge of what the running order of songs were before Say You Will was chopped in half? Will we ever get to hear them, officially or unofficially? I wonder if Not Make Believe and Love Minus Zero were actually part of the double album.

It's somewhat easy to speculate on what Lindsey songs may have been recorded for it. Guitar Player Magazine mentioned Gift of Screws and I Am Waiting.

Other possible songs, based on his leaked finished(?) solo work...

Someone's Gonna Change Your Mind
Down On Rodeo
Try For The Sun
The Singer Not The Song
Twist of Fate
Shuffle Riff (?)
Got To Get Away
She Smiled Sweetly

But what about Stevie's songs??? Any information on what's sitting in the can???

Since Stevie gave them 17 old demos to work on, I think it's hard to speculate which songs of hers would have made in onto the double album.

Default My Little Demon

Hello all---

Regarding outtakes from SAY YOU WILL, I'm not sure if anyone has mentioned "My Little Demon" from THE DANCE. I know there are a couple of low-quality Lindsey solo demos out there, but to me, neither of the two versions I've heard measure up at all to the live version, and the live one isn't exactly perfect either. *grin*

I was really hoping that this song would turn up as a b-side or something, if not on the full album itself.

The strange vocal gasps heard at the beginning and middle of the live version give me the impression that Lindsey had been working on a studio version, because they were obviously stacked recordings of his own voice. But I don't recall them being on either of the solo demos that I've heard. Does a better quality studio version exist?

mattl
