Favorite appearance era

If there's one thing every single Mac fan and his brother knows, it's this: Lindsey Buckingham is a damn chameleon. Of course, what I meant was that it seems like that every few years, he would change his appearance, sometimes more drastic than others, and with that, many fans have come to debate over what era Bucky looked his best, and with that, I present a poll asking you what era you like him best.

EDIT: BTW, cause she said something, you could blame Sahara for this thread

My vote goes to the Go Insane era. In second place is a tie between OOTC and Mirage, 3rd place goes to Tango era.

Actually, I disagree that he's actually changed all that much since Out Of The Cradle (other than the ravages of time). Even at that, the most RADICAL change was when he went from being the Jeff Lynne lookalike to the "rock & roll frankenstein" look of Tusk. The so-called Law & Order look is pretty much what he's continued to stay with, except for the couple of Eraserhead years in the mid-80s. Just an ever so slight variation of hair length...the receding hairline & greying aren't really something he can control (naturally, anyway).

If he was REALLY a "chameleon", I think we would've seen him with a full-on beard again at some point, but other than the occasional candid photo with a few day's growth, he's stayed clean shaven in his publicity photos.

I don't think he is particular goodlooking at all, but in the Mirage concert video, he manages to impress me quite alot . I've never seen him that attractive to my eyes again. Well, I knew nothing about him when i saw that concert video - that was a big plus.

Listen, we're not the Chiffonhead equivalent for this guy (OK, I have met some crazies, but not to the degree of some of the more extreme Chiffonheads), but just don't try and cross us

EDIT: BTW, as for the chameleon bit, that was me and my typical overexaggeration and attempt at being funny. To me, he seems the same after Tusk and to Mirage (but I put down the Law and Order category for some of the more discerning fans, says the girl that can't find a TV remote when it's right in front of her ), but the change from fuzzy to Tusk made him seem like a whole other person, to the point where, if I was looking on as a non-fan, I'd probably say "When did the Mac hire a new guitarist?"

Haha! I was joking deary. It's only in recent days that I've grown to understand what a Chiffonhead actually is. Quite scary. Even though I like Stevie very much, I don't think I could be that testy about it. I reserve that testyness for people who "diss" Rupert Everett lol.

Yeah, I'll admit that I do love Stevie and her music, I'll never be quite as nasty as some fans are. Besides, people have opinions, but when you start being a poser or an elitist, that's when we're gonna have some problems.
