I just adore John's sense of humor, too. I think he's the only member of the Rumours incarnation of Fleetwood Mac I'd actually like to meet, because he seems so real and humble. John seems keenly in touch with reality, and after being in a world famous band for four and a half decades, that's pretty cool! I've always enjoyed John's bass style tremendously, too. More so than any other rock bassist that I can think of, he provides an entire counter melody to Fleetwood Mac's songs. He's not a passive bassist at all. His style is utterly distinctive in the rock world, IMO.

You've hit the nail on the head there. I think the band needs someone like John.
