She reminds me of Daryl Hannah in the movie Splash...especially with that shirt.
Also, I can just imagine Stevie and a girlfriend laughing and giggling as they crimped each others hair late one night...among other things.

Stevie can sometimes pull off the crimped hair surprisingly well considering it's freakin' crimped hair. The other picture is just horrific to my eyes. However, she looks smoking with the crimping here:

And speaking of sheep:

You can make a sweater out of Stevie's hair! She should have donated it to the children.

This is beautiful. You're right, she made it work. I also have said many times on this board that I liked the blown-out braid faux-crimp (BOBFC) look from the Street Angel tour.
I think it's time for the adventurous hair to come back, and retire long-straight-parted-to-side-with-bangs (LSPTSWB) forever.

Then again, maybe BOBFC was a reaction to her finances at the time? She was taking a (shudder) bus on that tour, after all. Braiding/unbraiding didn't really require a cosmotologist, Karen or Glenn could have been doing it for her. Then with the FM reunion with 'The Dance', she started rolling in money again and could afford a hairdresser full time to maintain the LSPTSWB.

I don´t like all her wigs and that photo session with totally straight hair without bangs (from 90´s but I didn´t find any photo in my collection, she really doesn´t look like Stevie there). And for example I don´t like these too:

What really needs to be said about Mick's greasy, stringy mess of a head? I personally can't really think of a God awful style on John (aside from looking a little oily at times), but he did have that Fu Manchu 'stache at one point. I can't decide if it was cool or not.

Stevie got her hands on Christine's crimpers on occasion, and it didn't always end well.

I need a projectile vomiting smiley right about now. The combination of the crimping, that two-toned hair coloring, and those bangs creates an eyesore. Thank goodness that were can't see ~~what appears to be Christine's~~ whoever the hell's also crimped head any better. And let's not even get into the dudes.

I've got to say- she looks kind of sexy here!
