Can anyone tell me if there was an opening act, and what time Stevie actually came on? Thanks!

Default No opening act....

At Turning Stone the actual start time was 20:20.

Lights dimmed @ 20:15, & Lights back up @ 20:15:05,

Best of all was the "No Gloves" for the Edge Walk,

G.

PS, no sooner had Torri accepted the guitar, &, some guy walked up to her, & said,

"hey I'll give you 3 hundred for the guitar"..... yeah right.....

g.

I loved this show, and would've loved it even more if security hadnt been such asses and if the crowd hadnt been so lame and lazy. In any case, here are some pictures I took. My camera was on 40 fps burst, and Stevie does not move fast enough to need 40 fps so I got a lot of unnecessary shots that I (mostly) deleted. I also got video of GDW, which was fantastic, but my video skills were subpar. Lots of shaking and wandering. I will put it on youtube anyway.

This tour has been so good to her. I'm still in shock from her Santa Barbara show. Just reading these reviews makes me uncontrollably smile.

Well, this is great indeed. It seems she's happy and refreshed, and hopefully, she will sustain this through the promotion of her new album and beyond.

Heart turning stone

the show was awesome ! she looked and sounded great-so did the band !!
I thought the crowd was great in my opinion.
It was good to hear about her brother Chris doing better!
Anyone have a pic of the Stand Back shawl it was like a smooth light green?
I thought it was really different - i liked it alot .
One other thing I wonder why she has stopped wearing a white shawl for Edge of Seventeen ? any thoughts on this . Love Is was amazing!
LOVE YOU STEVIE!!!!!!!!!!!

My snippet of "Love Is" until the fuzz tackled me and hauled me off to Creedmore.

Default thank you for the snippet

of Love Is.. Wow, our Stevie does sound really good.

When listening to it, I was wondering again why people have to talk when Stevie sings until I realized it was "the fuzz.."

the fuzz said "take the video off."

she said " it was my mistake.. "

thanks for trying hejira.. I like what little I saw and heard.

-For her ending speech, she mentioned that she was working on a new album, but she also said some things I had never heard before. She said that as she was figuring out how to bring "Love Is" to the stage, she went to the piano demo recorded in 1995 because she did not particularly like the version on TISL. Neither did Sarah MacLachlan. Neither did her producer. So she basically considered it "lost" until she rediscovered it on the demo tape. Interesting... Considering it was on her "opus," I think it's rather odd that she would be deriding the album version like that. Then she thanked everyone for showing appreciation for this "new song," because "it's hard to bring a new song to the stage in front of... (pointing) so many people."
Thank you for the details. That's very interesting about Love Is. I adore the album version, but any time she wants to to make changes that's fine. I'm glad we've got both.

I like your second picture. There's a red rimmed quality around her features that make her seem vulnerable. Actually, it reminds me of the I Love Lucy episode when Lucy told Ricky that she was pregnant at the night club and she kind of teared up when he serenaded her. Very touching. Stevie's face has that look in your photo.

Michele
