Default In The Dawn

I'm looking for the complete audio file of "In the Dawn"--written by Pacheco & recorded by Pacheco & Nicks.

Wasn't there a complete version of it released here at some point?

Yes, the full version is great!

Here's the info from Pacheco's blog:

In The Dawn features Stevie on lead vocals. It was one of the songs recorded at Sun City Studios by Keith Olsen (1970). When I wrote it, I also thought “the dawn” would be the few years leading up to 2000, the new millennium. Now I am convinced that “the dawn” really refers to these very years leading up to 2012, the end of the Mayan calendar. Of course, there are other sentiments thrown into the tune as well, such as, a Fritz reunification, however, don’t think that I am still dreaming such fantasies! After seeing L&S at the Concord Pavilion (2006), I hadn’t truly understood their level of stratosphere. Still, I was grateful for their kindness. Maybe when we’re 70ish we’ll have another photo op. I’m not venting or complaining!! I don’t need anyone to legitimize me! I am no longer interested in the ambitions of my youth. I am happy doing what I do, performing at different venues and creating music with a number of great musicians who are also genuine people. I love it! My satisfaction comes from cathartic writing and being able to share with others. I am grateful to be alive and to be able to still smell the proverbial roses.

^^Is there a such thing as getting a contact high from a song?

Thanks! I didn't know the full version was in circulation, so this was a psychadelically fantabulous slice of acid pie! I dig!

"I do not know what to do now..." SO psychodelic, Stevie!

I really love how Stevie overdubs herself in there, even back in 1970!

It's very Age of Aquarius/Mamas & Papas sounding. I wonder who played the piano.

I would assume Javier Pacheco, who also wrote pretty much all of the songs for Fritz, including this one. Though I enjoy the music, most of Javier's lyrics are a little too pseudo-intellectual for my tastes.

...but you've gotta love a songwriter who shoehorns the word "thwart" into a lyric. Poor Stevie... she could barely get it past her lips.

Sorry for the sidetrack...and the borrowing of the signature photo, but how is it, I can remember the songs they played, the feel of the breeze on my face, the whole vibe of the crowd at this concert....and, remember every OTHER guitar Lindsey's ever played on stage, at shows I've attended, but don't remember him EVER playing this Gibson Les Paul Jr?

Well, I'm not casting aspersions Chili, but I'm thinking it wasn't a "contact" high.
