LISTEN BEFORE YOU BUY!

There has been a stream of the entire album up at mtv.com for a few days now. It has made me decide that I definatetly won't be buying it. It's rancid. If this crap didn't have Madonna's name on it, nobody would listen to it for more than 2 seconds, which right now also happens to be my personal record for how long I can listen to it before I become naucious. Don't waste your money! Buy multiple copies of Say You Will instead! I bought 3 and I'd buy another if they'd release an LP!

I bought two copies of SYW...Limited Edition for me and then today I bought the regular album to spread the Fleetwood Mac love. My English professor is a good friend of mine and has been helping me out a lot lately will college transfer stuff so I got the album to thank her. When she found out how much i love FM and that I was going to see them twice she's like, "get your own damn band!" so I thought this would be amusing. And she will like it!!! I still want the new Madonna album...I tried to buy Kelly Clarkson today...Best Buy= SOLD OUT. I think Kelly is going to be #1.

I don't have to listen before I buy with a Madonna album haha, she's my #1 fave, not a chance I won't go mad for the cd, I'm sure I'll have to get used to some of it though but oh well, I love her to bits.

I thought Madonna peaked?? ah, just kidding Craig. I personally haven't like anything Madonna has done since "Bedtime Stories" - which I love mainly due to Babyface's production of that record.

I have only heard the single, and it didn't do much for me. I hope you enjoy the new album.. it's always nice to have new music from your favorite artists.

Speaking of the new mac record, and I do love it, but I've already started listening to other stuff. In the old days, I would play a new FM or Stevie record for weeks, non-stop.

But, I do love the new albums from Ziggy Marley (Dragonfly), Lucinda Williams (World without Tears), and the White Stipes (Elephant). And I have listened to those records, in between my Mac listens.

I am getting ready to go to the gym, so I will be playing my 'Say You Will Stevie' cd, which is all of Stevie's tracks from SYW plus Not Make Believe. Good workout music.. for rowing at least. I do love the Stevie songs on this record.

and of course, last night I lit candles and listened to Nina Simone.. what a beautiful talent. Thanks for all the wonderful music, Nina!

tho I like Madonna, I find I only have two of her albums in my collection, Immaculate Collection and Ray of Light, in my opinion, both feature her best work...

I do like teh new madonna album, it didn't impress me at all at first just because there's no song that gets me going crazy for it, Music had FIVE! Still, there's not one terrible song, which is amazing.

Yeah, I don't care for her at all. Maybe a few 80's dance stuff is OK. I think I would rather hear old Paula Abdul over Madonna, however. If I had a choice.
