I was 8th row on the side too! I flirted with security a little and got them to show me the set list and also tell me when people are allowed to rush the stage. Go up during band introductions. If someone tries to tell you to go back, look security in the eye and be like, "look, I know we're allowed to walk up during 'How Still My Love.' Just let me get in the position to run to the best spot possible."

Which is just ridiculous considering how she said she was surprised it hasn't fallen apart after all these years. Woman, if you treat if like that, we're all surprised it hasn't fallen apart!

I wonder if there was a massive gasp of horror when she tossed it to the floor?

Thanks! I'll definitely be trying my best to get up there! I can't wait to go.

Did you notice if they were being really strict on cameras?

I know, right? I'd have started flailing around and been like, "If you don't want it, I'll babysit it and keep it safe!" It's too pretty for all that. Holy crow.

All the same, baby. All the same.

Not strict at all at the Santa Barbara venue!

Just don't use a flash. In the UK they were ok with photos as long as no flash. But if your camera looks big and professional they did sit up and take note.

That's what happened to me. I wasn't using a flash and I was only snapping photos, not video, but my camera was big. It's not professional looking though. It's not like it has a removable lens or anything. It's just one of those all-in-ones, point and shoot. But one of FM's security people told me to put it away, which really bothered me.

The venue security people didn't ever say anything to anyone about cameras.

It seems I remember Stevie tossing one of her shawls during that Super bowl appearance. I don't know if it hit the floor or where it landed, but I remember her just discarding it. Kind of a cool move.

I really loved it at the end of the The Dance when they all just dumped their instruments and left the stage. They came back, of course, but I thought that was a good exit after Don't Stop.

Santa Barbara was pretty lax about camera's but there was this person in front of me that was taking viedo (we were right in front so this person was getting awesome footage!) and somebody (security?) tapped them on the shoulder and asked them to turn it off. Probally cause it was viedo?

GypsyNikita, that was really cool to see. Your pictures in order. of wearing the shawl, to tossing the shawl, to seeing the shawl lie haphazardly on the floor, to Waddy walking on it like it was just dusty words hidden under carpets.

Yes, that was indeed a great sequence. Especially getting the shawl falling in mid-air! The day in the life of a shawl.

I'm trying to figure out the footwear. They don't appear to be the orthopedic sneakers, it looks like this latest look is an actual boot with no heal. Or does she have leather-looking leg warmer type things that meet the sneaker, giving a boot-like appearance?
