Hotel John? Hahahaa! I'll put a mint on every pillow. If the roaches don't eat them first!

I would sleep in the bathtub if I knew you would cook something for me.

I wish you all the best, Dani. It's something I dream about too, and maybe if Stevie or the Mac return to Europe, I'll consider it more seriously. I turn 21 this year and in lieu of gifts I'm thinking of requesting donations to the Following Lindsey Fund. It's so true what LittleCharmer says: you regret the chances you missed, not the ones you took. And I don't think you'll ever, ever regret this one. |

I actually think I can do this without skipping a quarter, although it would be much, much more expensive. Frankly, I really don't want to miss a single show of the first half of the tour simply because we all know she'll be at her best then... so the starting date of her tour is going to be a major factor. If I do this couch surfing thing, that puts a lot of money back in my pocket... so I can make sure to buy the best tickets possible for every show! This is so exciting.I think I'm going to ask for "donations" to the Stevie fund for Christmas and my birthday (they are within a month of one another). And I may be picking up a second job at Apple, too (I'm going to a retail training session in a few weeks) which would help as well. I have months to plan this out-- I just have to stay on track ![]() YAY! |

Nope, which is why this is all speculation so far. It's all a matter of when this freakin' album is released. I'm praying for January/February so that the tour starts at a convenient time for me.

![]() YAY![/QUOTE] You are brave and mighty to work at The Apple Store! I went this week on a Tuesday afternoon, about 2pm, as I needed a new power cord for my iBook G4. Farmington, CT. There were at least one hundred customers in the store, the noise level was beyond belief, all the clerks were way busy. I just kept looking where the cords might be. None. Your time there should fly, those Apple stores are so busy. But the decibel level is unbelievable. Noisy mofos! Maybe you could enforce a 'surf quietly, or text silently, I have to protect my hearing for a major tour' policy. Then, I went and stood where most of the sales clerks were, in a cluster, looking frazzled, helping each other help the masses. (Or, the masstards). This was 15 minutes of me in the store. I was sure it would take me an hour to get speak to someone, it was so busy. Major panic attack as I stood there surrounded by throngs of louder and louder people. I caught a salesman's eye who sensed I wasn't going to speak and just bolt, which is what was about to happen. Showed him my broken cord, he went back to the storeroom (item was not kept on the sales floor, that would be too logical!) asked me my name, told me his, and said 'I'll be right out with it'. He came with it quickly, we never talked price. He put me in a short line, to the left of 3 long lines. The young 20 year old female cashier looked like she was on major painkillers and out of her mind, but she was sweet. $80 later, for my 'green light' charger part at the right-top of the Laptop that snapped off entirely, I was happy and on my way home and recharging. Had it been $300, what much could I have done? I needed it! Your time there should fly, those Apple stores are so busy. Ugh. Congratulations is all I meant to say. Congrats! I wouldn't last a day! After doing that job, you should see every friggin' date of the tour that you want to, all of them! Ah, to be young, brave and enthusiastic. Good for you!
