Arrgh , Farmville! What is worse than a status "update" that reads "need more dirt and pigs?" Sorry, if someone plays Farmville that's fine but it just seems to be bordering on insanity with these posts. I've noticed people will "friend" complete strangers so they get more Farmville points or credits or whatever.

I can sympathize with your friend. I added a few coworkers that are OK but I'm afraid that others might want to add me. I don't want to add them. I don't want them to know my business especially if there is something about work i'd like to rant about. I could block them but what if they end up finding out? More drama I don't need.
I wouldn't delete my account but still it was nice just having my Internet buddies and real "friends" on FB. Now I get nervous when I see any requests hoping it's not one of them.

I just wanted folks to know that I did a mass delete on my Facebook account. If we aren't friends face to face, or if we've never had any interactions with one another other than here, I went ahead and deleted. This is not a personal issue AT ALL and I have no problems with anyone. I have been reminded that based on what I do for a living, I need to keep my personal life as private as possible.

I do enjoy interacting with Ledgies on The Ledge. Thanks for understanding.

good for you. some have so much info out there; I mean, why not give them googlemap directions to home address for crime sake!

I also remind friends, when taking trips, vacations, etc, best to discuss AFTER the fact rather than give a play-by-play of when leaving, how long gone, etc... people set themselves up for crimes daily.

I take my privacy seriously.

Someone deleted me, a couple of days ago, and I can't figure out who it was. There OUGHT to be a notification for that!!!!

I understand, Janet. Because I teach, I actually have two FB accounts. One for students/work, and one for personal friends and family. I don't need my students knowing my personal biz.

NOOO! I just deleted a few people because of I was tired of seeing everything they are doing on some farm thing! That's all I ever saw from them. Have no idea what that is, but if you have a farm and were friends...Look out!

I hate seeing the Farmtown or whatever other dumb apps in my news feed too, I really enjoy clicking that little x next to the person's name to hide the app.

I still have a facebook...I really should go through and delete people who I really dont talk to. Like some people will just randomly request me who I have never talked to before lol
